“Food and drinks were okay. A little overpriced in my opinion for the drinks. Two small mojitos (not strong) cost $44. Had to keep going out the room to call them if we wanted to order drinks or food; so service could be a little more attentive. But they were accommodating and very patient when it came to splitting the bill unexpectedly. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and had good sound.”

“My husband and I got married at Tourmaline on 3/13/26. We are both from Forest Hills, and it was so special to us to have our small 45-person wedding held in a location where we met and grew up. We have nothing but wonderful things to say about our experience preparing for our wedding dinner as well as how it all went on the big day. Rebecca was extremely communicative and clear throughout the planning process. She was always available to email and speak on the phone to address any questions we had, big or small. We did not hire a DJ and instead chose to provide our own music, and Rebecca walked us through the process of bringing our own playlists (they even provided us an additional speaker for a small fee). The venue was spotless, beautiful, open and airy, with warm lighting that was both welcoming and intimate. The service was impeccable and staff was friendly and helpful. As food and beverages are one of the most important parts of an event for my husband and me, I won't cut corners on describing how that side of things went! We chose the family style/buffet dinner option with 2 cocktail hour food stations, as well as the top shelf full open bar. I can say that absolutely everything was incredible. We went with: 3 Mains: -Chicken Cordon Bleu -Short Ribs in bordelaise -Vegetarian Paella 3 Sides: -Potatoes Dauphinoise -Penne a la Vodka -Garden Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette Our two stations were the cheese and charcuterie, as well as the elegant raw bar (oysters, shrimp, clams, mussels). Everything was absolutely outstanding, with a crowd favorite being the short ribs and a personal favorite of mine being the chicken cordon bleu. However, I could not name one thing that was subpar. As a big seafood fan, I was tickled pink to be able to have oysters at my wedding. (Even more tickled pink to wake up the next morning and have leftovers for breakfast, neatly packaged by staff).Also to note: they were willing to make almost anything gluten free by request, and they even prepared a separate bowl of plain pasta for my stepson. My guests all commented how friendly the bartenders were and how nice it was to have them remember their drinks each time they went up for more! We added the additional hour to our package and were so happy we did; the 3 hours would have flown by; 4 hours really seemed to be the sweet spot for dinner, drinks, and dancing. Overall, the care, attention, and service that were provided in our wedding experience was top notch and I would give Tourmaline nothing less than 5 stars for making our wedding day unforgettable. “It's always good vibes. The kids love the arcade especially when lanes are full and we need time to kill. But service isn't too good Saturdays. I'm guessing because of how busy it is and maybe short staffed. We were a party of 10 and we bought two lanes and two games. When we were paying, we overheard a male gentleman come over complaining when is he going to get service that they were almost done with their first game and noone has come to them. Unfortunately, we went a whole game without any service as well. When we finished our game I told everyone to take a break while I find someone. I stopped a young lady as she was speed walking to another lane and she apologized and attended us right away. Staff is always friendly and polite. I'm sure it was just a chaotic Saturday. Other than the attentiveness of service that day, BOWLERO IS ALWAYS A FUN TIME!”

“Was looking around Queens for a music venue that featured underground local talent and was impressed with Bar Freda’s setup - a spacious street level bar with a chill vibe, ample room to spread out, and even comfortable bench seating! Head down a flight of stairs to the basement level and there’s a long space with a lot of head room and floor area to enjoy the bands. The sound was impeccable as well with a solid sound engineer managing the mixing and keeping the bands on point. All around a sick spot to catch a show, hang with friends and enjoy the Queens vibe. “I've been coming here for a decade. All sorts of amazing events. Seriously a hidden gem of a venue in NYC. I haven't been here in a while, but it has two levels with dance floors. Sound system is honestly like nothing else I've experienced in NYC. Really fun place.”

“Dope venue for an event. I will say the promo video for this place was very well shot. You think the place was on a much higher floor. (Spoiler alert) it's on top a single story restaurant. So technically it is a rooftop. If only 12 feet off the ground. But staff was nice , bathrooms kept clean. And I like the cup deposit thing . It keeps it alot cleaner”

“This hotel is right next to the airport and is very convenient. The rooms are very nice and the comfortable. Pricing is reasonable for the stay. The downstairs restaurant is fantastic and staff is super friendly.”
