“Everything was great. Very helpful staff, they allowed us to leave our backpacks until the evening after leaving the hotel. Hotel in a good and safe location with good access to the city center by metro or train. Cleanliness and silence at a higher level. Chinatown, you feel like you have visited China, the atmosphere cannot be compared to Chinatown in Manhattan. I will also add that the hotel is very close to LaGuardia airport and also not far from JFK airport (20 minutes by Uber)Safety: Safe neighborhood”

“FANTASTIC HOTEL. The pricing, location and services are amazing. I booked through Expedia after researching hundreds of hotels to stay at in NYC. One of the best features this hotel has is the rooftop terrace that over looks Manhattan with the Queens Bridge, BEAUTIFUL views!!! The hotel staff was also very nice and accommodating. Would stay again 10/10”

“Very nice hotel. I really can't say anything bad. Great service, the staff are very kind and respectful. I felt safe there, I felt that they knew the area well and were genuine in their character and behavior. The room was awesome, especially for the general area I wasn't expecting that. The breakfast saved me a lot of headache, trying to find food was kind of rough for me so that made my day and got me on my way. Above all, kindness of the staff is what I'd say is the best. If you value people and a clean, straight forward hotel, this is the place. If you are happy with having something that works this is also the place, drama free cannot complain. Thank you guys for my time, I will definitely be there again next time I have to come out there.”

“Great hotel, and typical of the brand. No surprises. Staff are friendly and attentive. Location I have 4/5… it’s LGA airport. If you need an airport hotel it’s great. Otherwise you are middle of nowhere.”

“Front office staff is very friendly. Aneli and Jessica are well trained in handling customers concerns! They are very friendly and are doing a great job. Hotel is fairly new and very modern. It's easy commute to Manhattan it takes about an hour to reach time square. It's worth it for the price and you can stay at a hotel which is not a shoe box.Hotel is surrounded by Chinese community and offers great options to eat.”

“Front desk people were very friendly and helpful The rooms were very clean and spacious, A/C a little weak but it was February so just opened the window to cool down and then perfect just 30 second walk to all that china town has to offer. Main Street Flushing subway entrance about 3-4 minute walk. Not too far from airportsNearby activities: New York best china town just steps awayWalkability: Close to so many great Chinese restaurants and markets”

“I read the reviews ahead. I suppose if you're looking for the bad you will see the bad. We had THE BEST TIME. My 12 year old son and I stayed for a night. Check in was easy, room was great, food was great, building was amazing. We hung out in the pool for hours. The kids were all there chatting about what's there, what's landing, what's coming later. We ate in the Paris cafe for dinner. Service was slow but we enjoyed the pizza very much. I had more fun as a parent than expected. I would def go back. Our room looked out over the runway, it was super clean, bed was comfy, zero complaints. The bar in the room has exceptional crystal glassware. No mini bar in the fridge so pack ahead. Fancy wine glasses, bring your own bottle. I got one cocktail at the pool and they don't hold back on the liquor. Pay an extra $4 for a pretty plastic TWA cup to keep.”

“I never write reviews but was compelled to do so after Kevin, our Airport shuttle driver, saved our day by taking the time, unprompted to wait for us as we struggled to get our two small children out of the hotel. We thought for sure that we had missed the shuttle and were preparing to order an uber when the front desk called to follow up. Kevin then came up with a trolley and helped us get to the airport on time and was super pleasant about it.The rooms were clean and comfortable and very appropriate for the price.”

“Sooo we had a change in flights and spent the night. Kinda fast in and out. Overall it’s fine, not my favorite Hyatt but really did the job. Very strange location, I had trouble figuring out where to park. No signs! Plus I was jet lagged. I’ll be back soon for another layover, I’ll probably check out the casino just to see where I’m at!”

“An excellent airport hotel for a one night stay. The room was comfy, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was very good (a typical Hampton Inn spread!)The area appears safe and quiet, although there isn't much in the way of restaurants or bars nearbyBe sure to plan for the free hotel shuttle pickup and drop off. The shuttle bus picks up from the Federal Circle Airtrain station, and was on time (every 30 mins) when I arrived at 8:20pm. The journey to the hotel took 10 mins. However, the return journey in the morning visits all terminals, which is convenient in theory, but it took 40 mins due to traffic.”

“We had a lovely stay here. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and had great views. It's a very easy train ride into Manhattan, and there are plenty of nice restaurants and coffee shops in walking distance. The highlight was definitely the front desk staff--everyone we interacted with were so kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend!”

“About 30-50 minutes by car from JFK Airport. The subway station is also very close, so the location is very good. Also, all the staff, including the front desk staff, were kind and friendly. There is a supermarket on the first floor of the hotel where you can buy food, which is very convenient. The rooms were clean and the water pressure in the shower was perfect. In addition, there were plenty of amenities and I was able to have a comfortable stay. The price is a little high, but if you're having trouble choosing a hotel in Queens, we recommend this one.Safety: It is located in an area of Queens that is far from JFK Airport (closer to Manhattan), so it is relatively safe. Also, there is a supermarket on the first floor, so I think it's safe to buy food.”

“Silver Gull Beach Club provided a blissful beachfront experience. The pristine sands and ocean views were breathtaking, and the amenities were top-notch. A must-visit for a day of sun and relaxation.”

“Of the three other Marriot properties I have stayed at near LGA (Marriot and Aloft) this one is my new favorite. Technically further away than both other locations although shuttle time to airport did not seem much longer. Rooms were very quiet but on the smaller side, which is to be expected and is the norm in NYC in my experience. The front desk staff (Ada and Mai) were amazing and super helpful when my travel agent booked me on the wrong night. And the shuttle driver the next morning as great as well. 5 stars all around for the staff! My new go to layoff/delay hotel!”

“Location is not very favorable for after-hours. I was told by the hostess that restaurants closes around 8pm. Also not a lot of options to eat. You will have a hard time looking for places to eat. Your only option will be doordash. Room quite comfortable but I have seen better options for the same price. Worth looking other reviews and assess your needs. Does not offer breakfast. 15-20 minutes walk from a Dunk'n Donuts.”

“Overall, it's a good hotel, but it's a bit disappointing that it takes a bit of time to get out of Manhattan. For your information, the quesadillas sold at the restaurant in the lobby are really delicious.”

“Right off the subway, check in was easy and quick, vending and ice machine just by the reception. King sized bed was super comfy with enough space in the room. No microwave or fridge but the bathroom was clean and all the amenities were there.Walkability: Local neighborhood was great for everyday items to buy, lots of choices on food, very very reasonable and definitely convenient for hopping into a train back to Manhattan.”

“My boyfriend and I stayed here for the Stevie Nicks concert, and it was phenomenal! The room was clean (especially the bathroom), and the front desk employee, I believe his name started with a T was very friendly and even called us 30 minutes into our check in to make sure everything was okay!”

“Tiffany was amazing. She is a wonderful person to guide you through everything from explaining the shuttle service to how to navigate NYC. The hotel was excellent. It was clean, super convenient with everything a person needs. It’s not fancy, but it does everything that the hotel should do at 100%! Thank you and I will definitely come here again.”

“I went this hotel with my family for a trip and overall the place is really clean and the staff members are nice. There is parking outside the hotel but they also have sperate parking at a garage but you have to pay 35$ a day. I used the garage and it was a good garage it had plenty parking. The rooms are non smoking and the rooms are really clean the bathroom is luxurious and they provide you with everything in the bathroom. I would come back to this hotel and I would recommend to everyone who is looking for a hotel in this area and I would mostly recommend to people with kids.”

“This was close to the airport. Waited over an hour for the shuttle (aka, SUV) then he was rude, and drove so fast, with music so loud. We almost hit another car. The desk gal was nice. There was glass on our room floor, just small shards sparkling with my flashlight, after 4 pokes, I had to put back on my shoes. Noisy 1st floor. Ck out was easy. The driver in the AM was nice,”

“Nice hotel simular to Aloft style hotels. Rooms do not have microwave or fridge. Hotel will provide ice and iron on demand. Rooms are large and breakfast is tasty. They use the hotel next door for gym. Uber eats doesn’t deliver but just use address across street and it will work.”
