“Our car broke down in Glens Falls. We haven't lived here very long and didn't know who to call. TowAway LLC came up on our Google search. We called and asked to be towed. Dan the tow truck driver called us to verify where we were and was there in about 30 min. It was only 20 degrees out. We were glad when he got there. We had our car towed to a service dealership so we needed to find a way home. Dan made sure we had Uber and knew how to use it. (We are older) we got home and just as we walked into our home Dan called to see if we made it home and to let us know he dropped our car off with no issues. Just a great experience in what was not the best day. If we ever need a tow again we will absolutely call TowAway and hope we get Dan.”

last week that my truck was leaking oil due to a cracked oil filter housing (Common on the 3.6L RAM) which caused it to hemorrhage oil.
On Friday my truck had an extremely rough idle. That day I dropped it off to Saratoga Honda (All my cars have been religiously serviced here for the last 6 years) and they were able to get it looked at within the hour and get the part ordered for next day, but ended up being delayed because of the snow storm.
At check in, the service advisor insisted that I take a free courtesy vehicle (2026 CR-V), that we ended up having for 4 days and they gave me the required oil change I needed for free because I had just got it done last month.
I remember having to fight with other dealerships to get a courtesy vehicle for warranty issues, specifically a 3 month wait for an engine on a Kia. They had no obligation to provide us with a car since I never purchase a vehicle from them or have any kind of warranty on my cars.”
“So I pull off exit 19 off the northway, while the front of my car is smoking as I pull over I'm talking to my son he says I wouldn't make it home go to this garage down the road. I proceed down the road apparently pass the garage he wanted me to stop at. I'm stressed and uncertain in this high traffic area as I drive a little further I turned down this side road to turn around. I pull in the parking lot look up and see in yellow and black Auto fix car care center. I go inside and speak with the manager on duty, asking if someone could look at my car it had been leaking coolant and smoking. I noticed they were very busy the manager at the counter mentioned as soon as one of his guys is done with the job he's working on he will look at my car for me. I decided to wait and have them look at it and give me a price and time it could be done. They took my car in found the problem show me what was wrong, they proceeded to fix my car and have it done. I was in and out in approximately 3 hours or less and on my way. The way they politely assured me they could fit me in, gave me a price I could afford. As I was talking to my son about the events of the day, I mentioned coming up on the shop accidentally I mentioned they all looked middle aged and it comforted me to
feel they were experienced mechanics.

“First time customer review: Saw the oil change special, amazing price for synthetic oil change! At first they didn't have the oil filter for my car but they went out of their way to secure one ASAP and the oil change was completed with no issues. Very friendly and helpful staff. The owner Matt will personally meet with you to ensure you are getting the best service possible. Good value for the services with very reasonable prices. Definitely will recommend and will return for further services on my vehicles!”

“Snowblower repairs. They were recommended by a friend in Glens Falls. Our Troy Bilt 24" wore out it's belt after 7 years in 2022. They picked it up and returned it two days later, all done, including a much-needed tune-up. Extremely reasonable price for everything done. 2023 during the heavy wet snowstorm of March, it broke again. They came out the same day, picked it up, repaired it (pins had sheared, they warned me not to push it so hard clearing out everyone's driveway around us, etc) and again, the bill was under $150 for pickup, repair, and delivery. I am seriously impressed!”
“This shop is awesome and I’m so glad I found them! I needed and they got me in immediately. While waiting, I had a nice chat with the owner and with the wife briefly when she walked over from the house.
Since then, I have been back for several repairs. They have never tried to upsell me and I never felt swindled. They communicate clearly before they do any work and if there are delays they are proactive about letting you know.
It was nice to support a locally owned business that still understands how to do excellent work and provide great customer service!
The one thing that I’d gently criticize is the lack of signage, I had never been here before and while I used Google Maps it wasn’t immediately clear I was at the right address as you only see their home from the street, and the garage is behind that. I doubt they’ll do anything about that as they’ve been in business 40+ years.”

“Was in here yesterday to just grab a quick oil change and inspection. Quick it was! Super friendly staff and I actually thought the older fellow at the front desk was the owner because of how attentive he was to customers walking in; he was making a point to say each customer's first name when talking to them. The other desk fellow was also friendly, as well as the tech he inspected my car.
I actually went to Jiffy (I usually get my inspections there) right before Steve's and when the wait was over 2 hours, I drove across the street to Steve Shannon's. Will be going there in the future!”

After finally getting my new windshield in and it not being broken, the installation when seamless! The service was fast and the replacement seems to be of high quality! It’s been about a week since the replacement and there have been no issues. Very happy with the service!

I noticed a chip in my windshield on Father’s Day. So, I scheduled a repair. Turns out it’s an old repair they can’t fix again. Needs a new windshield. Okay, no problem. I get set up with an appt for 7 days out. I get a call 2 days before saying the new windshield was damaged. Have to order another one. The day of my appointment I get another phone call. This windshield is scuffed. Have to order another one again. Good news, you’ll be all set Friday July 10th. Get another phone call this morning saying the windshield wasn’t received from their warehouse and now they have to order it directly from a vendor. Now it’s been re-scheduled yet again. And this time it’s out to July 26th. Since the chip was noticed, it turned into a crack and has grown and spiderwebbed.
Still responsible for my deductible on top of it all! How is it so hard to ship a damn window and not damage it?”
