“I had an excellent experience at Ocean State Job Lot and it easily deserves a full five stars. From the moment I walked in, the store was clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate. You can tell they take pride in keeping everything stocked and presentable, which makes shopping here a lot more enjoyable compared to other discount stores.

The selection is honestly impressive. Whether you’re looking for household items, snacks, seasonal goods, or even outdoor supplies, they seem to have a little bit of everything—and at prices that are hard to beat. I always find something useful every time I stop in, and it never feels like I’m overpaying.

“Love to visit this location most of the time. One thing that is consistent is the way William jumps through hoops to personally help customers. I have been the recipient of his assistance on several occasions. This last time, today, Sunday August 3, 2025, he maintained his great customer service even as his supervisor/manager spoke unprofessionally and unkindly to him. I applaud him for maintaining his professionalism, regardless of the hostile work environment!!!”

“Our local Family Dollar is clean and organized in a rural area which does not have many store options. The employees are hard working and friendly as I can tell they are given a mountain of work and responsibly to run the store. There's a little bit of everything at fair prices and if you shop on Sat. and have a coupon (digital or prior receipt) save $5 off $25.00!”

“The funny thing about Dollar general is they really do have everything. I'm always shocked about what you find there a pretty reasonable prices. there isn't one near me so whenever I'm driving by one I pull in and take a look and see what they have. they have everything snacks, candies, car, phone chargers, plastic bags, storage containers. The staff at this location was very friendly and willing to help check prices on a couple of things that I couldn't see. I was 'generally' very pleased.”

“Fun, clean, good flow, many products are $5 and $4 dollars. Really have to watch the prices. Products never stick around long. When they're in the front seasonal section on the right and only a few are left, they either get moved to the back or on a table in the front, on the left at a discount price. They also have separate standing racks that are separate vendors. Not affiliated as a five below product. They are a vendor product. Will vary per store. Be careful on the purchase.”
