“We went in to look at beds. The store is really beautiful and very well laid out. Our salesman, Dale, was friendly and very knowledgeable! He explained the process of finding the correct mattress for us and had us try several out, before we chose one. The beds are, certainly, pricey but, come with a 120 day home trial and the option for interest free financing.We found the one we wanted and ordered it. It was delivered the next day and we , absolutely, love it,! Worth the price for a great night's sleep!”
“Our family is obsessed with Red Owl! The worst thing I can say about it is that we find it hard to spend under an hour (okay lets be honest, under 2) in there, because there is so much awesomeness to take in. It's one of those perfect antiques malls that have things for everyone--collectors looking for something specific and willing to pay top dollar all the way down to little kids looking for something special to spend allowance money on. My partner has found multiple beautiful, designer dresses there for incredibly reasonable prices, and I've found perfect fixtures for my shop. We love Red Owl & their staff. <3 I send people there every chance I get!”
“I needed a mattress stat! And I didn't have a lot of time to be fussing around with delivery windows, missing deliveries, etc. Alec was so great. I went to his small shop, he had a selection of several mattresses to try, I picked one, and he delivered it to my house in Saugerties later that day. Not only that, but I also had locked myself out of my house and he was extremely gracious helping me get back in. I will order my second mattress from his shop too. :) It's very refreshing to work with small businesses that prioritize helping their customers! I had forgotten what that was like.”

“This is my fave location to shop at and I live in Dutchess County. I live about 15 minutes from the Target closest to me and I will travel 45 minutes to this one simply because of the atmosphere. The workers are friendly and easy to find, parking is never an issue, and the lines are easy to navigate. Love love love this location!”
“We recently purchased a bedroom set from Saugerties Furniture Mart. The product, Amish made furniture, was exactly what Jonathan, our salesperson, said. It was well built, how furniture in the past was made. More importantly, Jonathan was knowledgeable about the furniture, kind, and patient with our many questions. He made many suggestions which made the bedroom set much more useful - namely size, color, and configuration. After the furniture arrived, we noticed a slight blemish near a draw. He immediately arranged for two repair options. The first and easiest option worked perfectly - namely Steve, a long time employee came and completely repaired the dresser. I would recommend Saugerties Furniture Mart to anyone who wants an outstanding product, excellent service, and a store that totally stands by their merchandise. In this era with mail order dominating the market, it is a pleasure to deal with a local merchant who is reliable and pleasant. Buy local!”

The shop is beautiful, well stocked, and you can even enjoy live tutorials and shopping events from the comfort of your home when it suits your schedule.
