“My son and I have both been taking classes here for a few years. All of the coaches are awesome! I’ve met some great people, learned some cool skills, gotten stronger, and had a lot of fun as well.”

“I really wanted to try CrossFit but was naturally nervous: new place, new people…and I had never even done CrossFit! I had heard really good things about Kingston Athletics so I met with a coach who showed me the facility, introduced me to some members and explained the 6 session, comprehensive one-on-one (just me and a coach!) onboarding program. I loved their dedication to coaching safety, supporting individual levels and different fitness goals. I joined that day and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. The coaching at KA is impeccable, inspiring, human and fun. The membership here is diverse, supportive and ready to fist-bump any fitness level for chasing their own goals. I’ve felt my own skill, strength, stamina, confidence and satisfaction in life grow exponentially here with my fellow members and coaches. KA is more than a great workout every time. It’s a community of people who care and show up alongside you. My favorite part (aside from my own journey) is seeing a new face in the crowd.”

“Celeste cares for her students, is very sensitive to them and makes sure that they get what they need. Her aim is to encourage in them a sense of being in tune with themselves and with the world around them. At the end of each session, my wife and I feel whole, centered, and alert -- in other words, we feel PRESENT.”
“Being married to a staff member at bard has the fantastic benefit of giving me access to the Stevenson athletic center. I am so grateful to be welcomed into this space. They have all the standard gym equipment, including machines with weight racks, free, weights, etc., that you would expect to find at a gym like planet fitness. Unlike a bigger gym, the atmosphere definitely feels more cozy. I asked a couple of questions at the front desk and they were very courteous and helpful. The basketball court is also lovely and the front desk staff helped point me to a page online where I can see when the teams will be practicing so I can plan my visit accordingly.”
“Enough equipment to get a great workout for each body part. The employees and members are some of the nicest people I’ve had the pleasure of being around.”
“I haven’t met these new owners yet but the changes they have made are at least better than they were. The leather was ripped… so they fixed it… the gym used to not have toilet paper at times. Now I see a regular person delivering it weekly. The staff goes around and sprays machines. Personal trainers are everywhere helping their clients. There are bandaids in the locker room to grab if you need instead of running to the desk. If you don’t like contracts or fees then here’s a tip… buy your own weights and hang out in your garage. Problem solved. I got hit with a late fee from my credit card company… I owned up to it and paid it. I didn’t cry to the credit card company. For those of you crying about contracts and late fees: local libraries will sometimes have a drop in class for those who have trouble with these things. You can learn helpful tips in life…like reading contracts, keeping track of finances/budgeting, how to do your taxes, learn a new language, etc…. All businesses have problems but you all are treating this gym like it’s your child’s health insurance denying your child a heart procedure. It’s a gym!!!!”

“As well as the machinery to stay in shape, I look for cleanliness and
and a nice hot shower. Kingston PF to my south, and Glenmont PF to my North are excellent fitness clubs.”
