“Found a new with tags orange and pink dress for a wedding I’m going to, for $8. Cannot beat the prices on the jeans - you never know, you might find a pair worth a lot! Everything is clean and never seen a stained piece of clothing, which I see at other stores. It’s definitely a place we try to come to often!”
“This is one of my favorite thrift stores in the Hudson Valley. Their items are clean, great quality and reasonably priced. I have found some AMAZING accessories and clothes here, including a lochness monster sweater for $13 (worth $85 brand new) and an adorable fuzzy checkered bucket hat for $7. When you shop here, you're supporting a great cause. Masha the owner is the best!!”
“Found several pieces I loved and had a great experience with the family of staff/owners. The owner gave us a glimpse into some great local history. Very friendly, stylish, and reasonably priced.”
“Visited this gem on our last day in Saugerties. Located on the Main Street, this thrift store is a must visit for anyone who loves finding thrift gems at a bargain price. This is a charitable organization which supports dogs and so their prices are very fair. The staff is very polite, kind and helpful. Do visit this gem if you haven’t yet!”
“A wonderful opportunity for the needy. A terrific group of people I believe are all volunteers. I am happy to contribute to their wonderful cause. Thank you, People’s Place.”
“What a wonderful store with great deals. The staff are extremely helpful and there are so many great prices on all pet items. Leashes, collars, beds, carriers, you name it and they have it.”
“Friendly staff, great little store & lower cellar area with neat home decor and some antiques! Takes donations and all money made is directly donated to different organizations they support. Love stopping by here!”
“The Well is one of the best thrift shops in the country Prices are amazing Best bargains in town Staff are sweethearts & very helpful. I only wish they had longer hours but I understand, finding volunteers is difficult. You have to really dig but they are pretty organized & its a small store. Plus I have even found useful items in the FREE side of the store. Terrific!”
“Update:
Been there enough to find great deals, including free stuff, and friendly people. Is pricing still arbitrary? Maybe, but I haven't experienced it the last couple times I shopped. And I did go back and found EXACTLY what I wanted for FREE. SO, that's the name of that tune!
I enjoy the selection. Im just a bit unsure how the pricing goes. Bought shirt at 75% off and one at 50%. Total should've been $3.75. But got charged $6.50. Though I like the selection, the pricing is arbitrary, though seemingly straightforward. Ill stick to sal's and people's place for local thrifting. Kinda sad about this, but yeah, no.”

“Everything you could possibly want or need is in this amazing wonderland. And all of these necessities of everyday life, which are usually really boring to look at or use, are here except here they are stunningly beautiful - clean, inexpensive, excellent condition and either beautiful antique or the most comfy nightgown I’ve worn in thirty years. And the mistress of this paradise is an extraordinary young woman.”
