“For a daycare, both the people running it and the facilities are important. This place has the best dedicated building that's a school and not just some office space or a converted house. It also has a nice playground that they just put soft flooring in. The owner Ms. Lisa and the principal Ms. Jackie are really on top of things and the class teachers are all great. Your child will switch classes as he/she gets older and will meet different teachers. Currently we're with Ms. Annika and she's amazing. Our previous teachers were also amazing. Our daughter really likes going there although it took her a while to get used to it. Every time she falls or trips like toddlers do all the time, they take an incident report and show it to us. They really look after your kids and value them. They're in very good hands at TLE Englewood Cliffs.

Suggestion for improvements: Please upload higher quality photos, and video in the app so we can see our little ones clearer and in motion. We'll even pay extra for it!”

“Saint pertolemy is one of the churches that you must if ever you have a chance to be in Manhattan, it is a muster. 10. That particular afternoon I did go for piano recital of which was announced earlier in the day at the church but because of online that's how I got that bit of information. Worshiping at St. Marx is wonderful. Actually, I should have attended the 5:00 worship that he had that afternoon, which wonderful!. St. Parts is a fixture in Manhattan as well. It's a historical church. It's an Episcopal Church also to the welcomes everyone”

“Our daughter started at 5 months here and we’ve had a really great experience. They have a good ratio of teachers to babies which we appreciate. The teachers seem really present and caring, they send lots of photos of their day and little playground outings. Our baby has progressed into other classrooms at this point but still lights up (and runs to hug them) when she sees her previous teachers. The school director, Carly, has been wonderful and gone above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She’s also very hands on, I’ve seen her do crafts with the other teachers and one time at a Mother’s Day event one kid’s mom couldn’t make it so she sat down on the floor with that kid on her lap during the music listening part to make sure they didn’t feel left out. She’s also been very flexible with us and just great. So far we like this place a lot.”

“We have been at Sunshine Lexington for a year and a half so far. My daughter started at 5.5 months old, so we began in the youngest babies classroom. We absolutely love it there, and so does our daughter. The teachers are wonderful, evidenced by the almost zero turnover I’ve seen since we started.

The Tadpoles app is a great way to communicate, and you know what they’re eating/drinking, when they have diaper changes or use the toilet, when they nap and for how long, and receive photos and videos throughout the day. In addition to the daily Tadpoles updates, there is also the opportunity to sign up for phone calls with the teachers, email teachers directly, and there is a monthly meeting over zoom (recorded and sent with presentation deck after as well) to keep you updated on everything happening.

They also make it easy to connect with fellow parents by sharing parent contact info, having designated WhatsApp threads for each classroom, and hosting social events (including adults-only events).

I have also been impressed with the curriculum and amazing programs. This year, my daughter had music class, Spanish class, soccer lessons, and yoga lessons! She absolutely loves doing her yoga moves at home and telling me the Spanish words she knows!

What I find most helpful though is the guidance and support on when and how to hit certain milestones, including support on starting solid foods, when to switch from bottle to sippy cup, when to switch from sippy cup to open cup, etc. Right now, my daughter is in the beginning stages of potty training, and her excitement for the process started because of the encouragement happening at school.
