“The Community House is a true treasure in Forest Hills. All three of my kids went to school and after-school here, and it’s been an incredible part of our lives. They learned to swim here, made lifelong friends, and grew in confidence. The staff is amazing — they truly care about the kids and the community. “Starting with the positives this Y has a extensive series of social and cultural programs for everyone from new born's to seniors. They also have many athletic classes and teams, using their small exercise room, a large pool and a gym. Its a not for profit for organization and membership is less than most gyms.
On the negative side, the Y is somewhat disorganized. The people who work there are very nice and mean well, but the registration, billing ,etc systems need to be fixed.”
