“The Latham Sherwin-Williams didn’t just sell us paint—they helped us restore a legacy. The Enslin House is a six-generation historical landmark nestled in a forgotten village once rich with pride. She’s more than a home; she’s a living story—one that has weathered time, held generations, and now rises again as a filming location for productions including HGTV, TLC, Hulu, Gilded House team and others in the creative industry. We knew we couldn’t trust her transformation to just anyone. We needed quality, durability, and soul. Sherwin-Williams delivered all three. From the very first consultation, every team member treated this restoration not like a job, but a mission. Their deep product knowledge and support made a monumental exterior project feel smooth and inspired. The paint? Absolutely pristine— (Tricorn Black) flawless coverage, historically sensitive hues, and a finish that made the house sing with rapture and dance like a dervish. Why does this matter? Because The Enslin House stands among forgotten properties— But we remember. And with the help of Sherwin-Williams, we made this house proud again—not just for us, but for the whole community of Lansingburgh. This home has become a visual sanctuary for creatives, with projects in development and ongoing filming taking place. And now, we’re preparing to pass the torch. We are actively seeking a new steward—someone who sees not just walls and windows, but history, character, and a vibe that will embrace their soul. Sherwin-Williams helped us paint more than a house. They helped us set the stage for the next chapter. —The Enslin House”

“Excellent customer service! They make sure to calibrate their machine so you get consistent and accurate color every time. They can even match Sherwin-Williams paint codes as well as scan any color off of an object for an exacting color match, as well. All of the staff are very helpful and most especially Jeff. These guys enjoy what they do and it shows!”

“, 1/14/25. Hello, everyone. I am writing to revise the negative review of the Ace Hatchet Hardware Store that I posted. At the time when I attempted to place my order with Ace, and after weeks of contacting my financial institution, and encountering further declines against my account by other merchants, I recently have proof that my financial institution sent a debit card to me, that is defective, which causes some merchants to see an error message of decline, but, for security reasons, and due to problems with the card, the bank doesn't see it on their records, causing the conflict. Last week, I contacted Ace, and they agreed to accept another form of payment, and delivered my order, and were accommodating by phone, which I sincerely appreciate, and am completely satisfied with the purchase, and their willingness to provide assistance, despite the misunderstanding, that was not their fault. Currently, I am working with my financial institution, and requesting that they investigate their error, and replace the defective card to prevent further conflict. I want to retract my prior negative posting, and thank Ace and their manager. I appologize for my misjudgment, and regret my error. I rate Ace with five stars. I have recently received a message from Ace that their Tech Support department is currently working to resolve the accessibility issues with their mobile app, and website, which I also appreciate. Thank you.”
