If I had a choice I would give zero star reviews to this store. Staff standing at the counter are least concerned about the customer's needs. Their behavior is literally insulting with no regards to even senior people. I would advice to visit some other places rather than getting insulted and embarrassed at this UPS store.

This afternoon 08/01/25 around 2:35pm I went to UPS to ask for the shipping price, I was helped by a woman with an oriental appearance, and since she saw my package she told me that it is going to be very expensive I don’t think you could pay it, I proceed to upload the package and she asks me how much it cost and tells me customs is going to charge you taxes for that, and I but tell me how much the shipping would be, she comes and tells me without even looking closely at the computer, she says $400 I told you you weren’t going to be able to send it, I left very upset because you can’t be sure if the client can or cannot pay it, the way she treated me was very bad. and I know it wasn't $400 because I went to USPS and only paid $56.95, they didn't tell me anything about customs or taxes, they treated me very well like they're supposed to treat a customer, I don't think that was the price she told me. I will not return to that store.

The agents are helpful, friendly, and well-trained. They provide solutions to shipping issues and never have bad attitudes.

It’s a great store. I’ve shipped many packages of important items here. The staff has always been kind and helpful. There’s always a variety of staff and I’ve never run into anyone who hasn’t been professional and courteous.

I’m not sure who the Asian lady was who assisted me, but she was both professional and kind. She waived the fee for me to pick up my package after I explained my bad experience with the delivery to my home a week ago.
Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the supervisor at the UPS distribution center in Latham. She was ill-natured and quite rude.

Always friendly and efficient. I’m usually in and out of there in minutes. They’re always helpful and patient if I forgot something or needed a hand, like reprinting a label or taping. A UPS Store is a franchise operated by a local business owner. I’m not sure why some reviewers are blaming them for shipping issues with UPS.

First and foremost, it needs to be noted, I do not normally do reviews, only on rare occasions.
This is the second problem I've had with UPS in general. Last summer, they couldn't locate a package of mine (that I personally hand delivered), and it ended up a claim with corporate, at the end of the day they could not find my package.
They picked up the package I dropped off at the store in Rensselaer, NY and the UPS driver never processed my box correctly. Come to find out it was returned to the store this afternoon as undeliverable - to no fault of their own.
Ms. Lee was kind enough to call me back and follow-up with this issue.

I’m surprised by these negative reviews for this store. I just started using them a couple months ago to pick up my Amazon packages from, and have had nothing but great service. Employees are always very friendly and I’m in and out very fast every time.

I usually go in this UPS store for shipping and dropping off, but today was different with bad customer service, which is absolutely horrible, no care for customers as others also reported. They have no interest in being helpful or empathic. New staff here has zero customer service, not sure how they hired someone like that with an attitude. I had three packages to drop off, and the girl wanted me to pack in one, that’s fine, since there’s only one label for all, but what she was telling me to take all three packages to home, pack it and bring it back, which I’m not so interested to do that with those heavy packages, so I told her, I will buy box from HomeDepot, which is 2 minutes drive from there till then leaving them here, but she didn’t want me to leave my packages there, she just wanted me to take all with me and bring it back, which is hectic and intention of hard time, so I went to the home depot anyways and got back with two packaging box, and I asked for duck tape to wrap, she didn’t want me to give duck tape either, instead made me to buy cheap duck-tape for $4.99, that’s not even sticking on it, fine, bought it and packed it, which was not properly wrapped up. as per the instructions on return label, they should do the wrapping but she doesn’t want it to, cuz she’s slacker with attitude, even USPS and fedex provides the duck tape for free. Staff like this makes the store look bad and rethink to go back for any business again. Not going back there again, horrible customer service and too much attitude, if there’s 0 star to give, I would have given 0 not even 1 star on reviews.
