“So far have been here about 3 times and really need to get there more. Anytime I have went it’s always a good experience. The employees at first seem serious but mostly because it’s so busy at times and they are trying to get everyone on the range, get them rentals if needed and making sure they have the training and credentials to be able to use the facility. When you get a chance to speak to them they are all smiles and very nice. Always asking how you’re doing and what would you like to do today. Follow their social media and there always classes, shows, specials and sometimes even chances to win something. I haven’t committed to becoming a member but the prices are very good and once I get a chance to I would definitely join. Non members are allowed to come in but there’s different options and prices for certain things.A lot of times they are pretty full and they recommend you call before hand and make an appt to get a range. I’ve been on the area before last min at the dealership about a mile away I called and asked if there’s lanes open and got lucky but always double check before you make the trip. There’s always a range attendant making sure everyone is being safe, always pushing shells out the way and there if you have any questions. It’s about an hour from my home and I really don’t mind traveling because it’s a great place to get some practice and maybe take a class.”
“Lovely little art instalation on a quiet road. The amount of stones moved to make this place is amazing. I can't even imagine making anything 1/1000th this size, so cool. I did go on the wrong day though, because there was an easter egg hunt and lots of little kids running around, even though (there's no running) lol. If I had $1 for every time I heard the employee say that. There's a little gift shop and a kind of a history museum about the instalation. Parking is a decent size, but will fill up quick on a busy day, there is also handicap parking in an upper lot. The view of the mountains in the background is a nice touch to this piece.”
“Wiltwyck golf club is easily the best course in the area. It offers a tough challenge with great playing conditions and an awesome atmosphere. From the well maintained greens to the friendly staff, to the newly renovated restaurant and bar, if you love golf you’ll love what wiltwyck has to offer. Over the past several months, the golf course made the decision to remove several trees, which has had a positive impact on the overall playing experience. By removing the trees, they have improved visibility and created a more open and spacious feel on the course. It's a great improvement that adds a new dimension to the golfing experience at the course!”
“We had our wedding in June at the Saugerties Steamboat Co. location and it was everything we could have wanted. Brienne and Klaudia were fantastic to work with and were with us every step of the way, helping us to organize, plan and execute our wedding. The venue itself was was gorgeous and when some rain changed course right before our wedding, the Diamond Mills team was supremely efficient at getting everything and everyone moved inside for our ceremony (the team is seriously great at executing a rain plan). In addition, the culinary team at Blackbarn knocked our socks off, and were very accommodating with some of the requests we had to make for guests’ dietary restrictions. All-in-all, we’re so happy we got married here and will treasure those memories forever.”
“We spent two nights at Hutton Brickyards and really enjoyed our stay. The property is a former brick factory full of history to explore, and the accommodations are very nice. We stayed in a Forest Queen cabin, which was the perfect mix of cozy and modern. The bed was very comfortable; we both got great sleep. The property is dog-friendly, so our little chi mix was able to enjoy the cabin as well.
Hutton Brickyards was easy to get to without a car by taking Amtrak to Rhinecliff and then a cab to the resort. Once we arrived, there was plenty to do on the property and within walking distance. We ate at the River Pavilion which offered a beautiful view of the Hudson and good quality gastropub-type food. We took a great hike along the Empire State Trail, and explored a cool abandoned cement plant. In the evening we enjoyed the fire pit, and saw the most intense rainbow over the river. In the morning, we went to the sauna.
Throughout the whole experience, we were greeted by very friendly and accommodating staff. It was a great blend of a cabin getaway and a hotel stay.”

“I just stayed in the Courtyard Marriott in Kingston and my stay couldn’t have been better! The hotel was very recently renovated and it showed. The hotel was immaculate, and the room was lovely and spacious. I stayed in a renovated room that had two queen size beds with a pull out sofa and leather chair. The decor and colors are modern. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I would absolutely go back to this hotel if I’m ever in the Kingston area. It is in a great location with a Target right across the street along with plenty of other big stores.
Marriott never disappoints.”
