My fiancé and I were cutting in the corners of our bathroom using up the last of our iced slate paint we purchased back in August. We purchased 6 more gallons of it 7 months later and we popped open one of the new gallons to start rolling the walls only to realize the color was completely off. So off to aubuchon I went looking for help matching the Benjamin Moore paint to our already half painted walls that the other hardware store 2.5 hours away completely messed up mixing. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly helpful and patient. Not only did they take the time to carefully analyze the paint we had, but they also used advanced tools to ensure the new batch was a perfect match.
Thomasine and John went above and beyond by offering to make custom adjustments to get the exact shade we wanted, and they didn’t rush us at all. They offered to correct the 6 gallons we had already purchased from the other hardware store back home to help save us from spending another $500+ since paint is almost always non returnable! It was clear they genuinely cared about making sure we were happy with the results. Their expertise and dedication turned a frustrating situation into a pleasant experience, and we left feeling confident in the quality of the paint and their service.
