My dog max is extremely reactive and has been kicked out of other groomers. They are amazing with him here. I wish i could give more than five stars.

Went today for the first time with my nervous dog for a long overdue cut. The result was just gorgeous ! The staff was so nice and accommodating. Will definitely be coming back.

We had an amazing first experience at Dog Friendly Grooms! Sandra took time to connect with Ollie and give him some treats while we chatted about what I was looking for. He felt at ease right away and was totally happy to go to the back room when I left. He looks amazing! We’ll definitely be back.

My two italian greyhounds were greeted right away and got back scratches I told the owner i just wanted a nail trim for both BUT one of my dogs Sage is extremely nervous with her right paw due to having two surgeries and having a cast on that leg on and off for a year. She is very hard trusting with anyone but me but she wont let me clip her nails only brush her teeth. Sandra listened to everything and sat down with my dogs and talked for little before she took them back. She did an amazing job - she even got to file it after clipping where my dogs are scared of any electric noises lol! I may not have a groooming feedback but as to nail clipping and overall customer care - this place is awesome ! I recommend ?✅

I just wanted to share my experience since I am always the type to research a place via yelp reviews before coming in. I went here years ago with my old dog and had an amazing experience with grooming and nail trimming. Now that its 2023 I wanted to check the reviews and ofcourse our dogs are like our children, and upon reading it all I went to go for nail trims for my two italian greyhounds. I made Sandra aware my girl Sage had two surgeries on her right leg and is extreeeeemely anxious, nervous and her foot is super fragile she always lifts the leg still. She greeted me and sat down with my dogs before the nail trim, listened to what I had to say and took them to the back and had a lady help her to hold Sage. No screams or cries from neither pup - success! (they whined at home whenever I tried to do it). All in all, great experience! Dont let someones one bad review discourage you from coming in ! All of the ladies are super nice and they give lots of belly rubs and back scratches for our fur babies

My boyfriend went there 30 minutes before appointment. the lady did not even had patience for him to look up for the vaccine of our dog she said "i will take next dog" then he calmy told her he had found the vacciness and she started telling him that the dog needs to be all shaved and it will be more money , We do not care how much we pay but if i pay for a service the haircut has to be how we want not the groomer ! my boyfriend said nicely that he don't want to leave the dog because he doesn t feel comfortable anymore and that he is willing to pay for a fee. but the lady rudely started to raising her voice and act as if we do not have the $$ to pay ! One star is not enough to put ! the previous dog was crying in the back so we did not felt safe to leave our dog . As for customer service . DO NOT raise youse voice at a customer because you had a bad day or because you're stressed. Never coming back

We have been bringing our Lizy here for the past several years.I must say the service has always been friendly and top notch. I am so glad to have Sandra's shop in our immediate area and we will continue using her grooming shop.

The fact that I drive down all the way from Staten Island every 6 weeks to have both my dogs groom here says it all. Sandra and her team are EXCELLENT!!!!

I would say this place is pretty hit or miss. I have received grooming/nail trim services that vary throughout the spectrum of great-bad over the last couple years, just wanted to give them a few chances before just dismissing them. My last visit would unfortunately be my last because shortly after I picked up my dog from a groom, I came home and noticed he got fleas. I don’t understand how but I assumed it was just 1 straggler or something but sadly it has gotten worse and he has been under severe discomfort ever since with itchy, raw skin and had been behaving so strangely and unlike himself. I used to live in Texas where fleas where a lot more of a problem and he has never been in this condition with fleas and I think the last time I even saw a flea on him prior to this was maybe 4 years ago. Pray for my pup :(

Best groomer in Ridgewood and honestly best groomer I've ever had in general! Quality work and quality customer service. We've trusted them with grooming our dogs for the last several years and have been nothing but overjoyed! Kind, courteous, and professional. We love Sandra!

Took my pup Luna for her first groom and Stacy & Sandra did such an amazing job!! I was nervous at first but when I picked her up she looked like a total princess. Handled with care and all dolled up! 10/10 recommend.
