“Jimmy and Albert are incredible professionals that went above and beyond for my rim and tire issue. Long story short, rim got badly damaged, needed 2 new tires. My dealership did not want to support me in getting service as well as a loaner. The gentlemen at Jimmy’s were able to get me same day service through my protection plan. Albert spent hours on the phone with my insurance company fighting to get my claim approved. Ultimately, he succeeded and they were able to give me a brand new set up the next day. “I brought my 2017 Audi A6 to Urban Classics Auto Repair after getting a pretty shocking diagnosis from the Audi dealership. The dealership told me my engine mounts were blown and quoted me just over $4,000 to fix them. A friend recommended Urban Classics, so I decided to get a second opinion.
Not only did Urban Classics quote me about half of what Audi wanted, they also discovered that my cooling fan was broken — something the dealership never mentioned. They fixed both issues, and even with the additional repair, my total cost was still less than Audi’s quote for the engine mounts alone.
I also want to mention Max, the senior mechanic who helped me throughout the process. He was straightforward, patient, and really took the time to explain what was wrong and how they were fixing it. His professionalism made the entire experience much easier.
I just picked up my A6, and I genuinely forgot how good this car is supposed to feel. The vibration is completely gone, the acceleration is smooth again, and the whole drive feels brand new. It honestly hasn’t driven this well in years.

“I had a catalytic converter theft and called the number for Corona Muffler Shop inside the salvage yards at The old Shea Stadium (now Citifield) automotive parts and service zone. Alberto picked up and told me of his new location at Dragon Tire Shop at 101-12 Northern Blvd. He was extremely communicative (easy to understand with clear English), willing to work with me on time and price. The man took care of business on a Sunday and for a very, very competitive price. He does good, clean MIG welding with a Miller welder. He had the catalyst installed along with a flex pipe and had me up and running in no time. He's got a lift and a pipe bender to make custom exhaust too. He does general mechanic work and his shop sells new, used tires and rims. I cannot stress how good it is to have someone like him running an auto repair business in the neighborhood. He's only a phone call away, willing to put in off hours and works for a reasonable rate. He's also an honest guy and that means you are in good hands, in a pinch and he's going to get you back up and running. All the success in the world to you Alberto! Thank you!”
