One of the worst car washes I’ve ever been to and seen. It’s filthy, from the wash tunnel itself to the premises. New ownership did nothing but change the waiting area layout and raise prices. It’s abysmal that a wash is $60 now. Long wait times to get into the tunnel depending on timing, and long wait times for your vehicle to even see a towel once it comes out of the tunnel. Your car will spend more time sitting and idling than it will being cleaned.
I’ve cancelled my monthly membership and will not be returning any longer. Judge for yourself by the other reviews, this place is garbage.

Poor, not enough staff didn't receive the wash that was paid for. Some of the machinery inoperative go everywhere

Place is terrible I’ve been coming here 15 years and it has gone so down hill it’s baffling .. I think the reviews speak for itself..no less than an hour/prices outrageous for semi-good wash/ few times they left spray bottles on seat on their side leaking staining the seat. Today approximately 10 cars on line watching staff stand there and talk not moving any cars with big gaps they clearly could be moving cars up. One person tried to get out to leave 2 people beeped(including me) and this is what we get a male throwing his hands up in the air yelling to over 10 cars to shut up. Great customer service for people paying a lot of money.. I get things get hard but you never say that to customers and when asked about it said well there are 2 people here no apology.. nothing except nasty attitude place sucks
So I have to say Riverhead Car Wash made my day today. After my car breaking down 2 weeks ago and costing ALOT of money I went to get it cleaned today and had a great experience. At first I was skeptical about the changing of ownership after having a few tough experiences but am pleasantly happy and will continue to come and the sister branch in Mattituck. The new owner greeted me with wonderful smile and free air fresheners and after learning I have been a long time customer asked if I had some free time to upgrade my package today for and extensive cleaning. He went out talked to the crew and I had like 5 people wiping and vacuuming and put a lot of extra effort into the car. It's the little things like that which makes a difference and it is greatly appreciated. I spend a lot of time in my car which is older and feel better when it's clean. They did a fabulous job and am super satisfied. I went in today in not the greatest mood and that little gesture by the owner completely turned my day around. I have been coming many years and see this to be a positive change. If you don't have package at Riverhead Car wash I suggest you get one it's well worth it....

The wait is very long you have to wait up to 40 minutes for them to start cleaning your car I had never seen a service as bad as the one they do since I changed the administration there are not even employees to perform a service effectively

They are severely understaffed. You will wait 30-40 min on line before you enter the wash. Then expect another 30 minutes for vacuum and interior service. All this while there are multiple bays open. It used to be great, has gone downhill over the past 18 months.

I don’t know what happened to this place; it wasn’t like this before! It really doesn’t deserve a star.
Very expensive and the work isn’t good. Sadly, it’s the only car wash in Riverhead.

The outside of car was fine, but the inside? 🙄 They did not do a good job at vacuuming at all. We had to do it ourselves and spent like həlf an hour doing their job. For how much we paid, It was not worth going here.

No response from car wash. Car fame out of wash and sat for 32 minutes idling before they even started on it . Sub-par job on the glass, carpet still had sand. Mats were still dirty and not snapped back into place, gas cap was left open and it looked like a two year old applied armor all on the tires. The lady at the front desk was no help. I sent in complaint on there website and zero response. I'm done paying over 50 dollars for a half ass job. There rating's reflect there decline. Maybe they'll respond when they go out of business.

Terrible! After my car went through I waited 20 minutes while my car sat in the sun. Great if you want water spots. If you care about your car DONT take it here! I ended up drying it myself (whatever water was left) at this point I didn’t want them even touching it so I did not have them clean the inside. BUT the lady inside working the desk was absolutely wonderful. So kind and understanding I made sure not to take it on her of course it’s not her fault. I did not expect a refund but she insisted. Wish i got her name for this review. If you want to use an actual good car wash go to Hampton Bays Auto wash.

Riverhead Car Wash detailed my Black Suburban on Saturday, and did an excellent job! One of the owner/managers, Adis, assisted me. He was courteous, professional, kind, and respectful, and has now earned my future business. I have read some of the recent reviews from customers who did not have as good of an experience. My best advice is that if you are not satisfied at the time of service, ask to speak with Adis so that he can provide the same high service for you as he did for me. If you are still dissatisfied, which I doubt, then by all means, leave a review online with your experience. I do believe that this group wants to serve the community well!

Service was a bit pricey but I was worth it. Car looked amazing. I was please to see the manager was making sure the cars was coming out good. I will go back

One of the managers here used to own a detailing business, he's one of the few people I would trust to wash my car. I would say at the very least give them a shot, I guarantee you'll be surprised at the quality of the wash.

Thank you Riverhead car wash for the excellent job you did on my car. The employees paid close attention to details and what needed to be done, they did an awesome job. The manager Adis was on top of everything making sure everyone knew their roles. He also as the manager helped the employees move cars and assisted where they needed help. Keep up the good work Riverhead car wash I will be back again.

I pulled in waiting 5 minutes for the guy to get off his phone to help me. Then when done waited 16 minutes for someone to dry it and do the inside. Still never showed I left. 45 $ for and outside wash. This place used to be good. Lack of management and the personnel touch it used to have.
