“We have been members of credit unions for over 40 years (would not consider a bank ever again if I had a choice) and members of Summit Federal Credit Union for over 9 years. Not sure about the negative reviews I read about them but I have always found them to be exceptionally customer oriented, professional and always answered any questions or concerns we had immediately. I have never called Summit and gotten a negative response. Their employees are exceptional and extremely helpful when the older generation (like me) have questions about accounts. We transfer money to our daughter and grandson quite often (who live out of the country) and everyone has always been helpful with paperwork needed to complete transactions. We are so glad SFCR exists and would not consider going anywhere else for our banking needs.”
“We have been customers of the bank for over 17 years, in two different states. Both locations we used as our main branch gave impeccable service. The tellers go out of there way to recognize us & remember our names. It's a personal touch of each branch. We have also used the bank for other services, and have had nothing but top notch service. Another thing I appreciate about the bank, is they don't nickel and dime you on service fees alike other banks. Rather I have an acct with them or not, they understand if I'm happy with there services, I'm more likely to refer others to them.”

“I made the switch 20+ years ago when it was limited to Kodak employees and direct relatives. It is the best financial move I've ever made. They have added so many services and technology as well as drive thru only and branches around the entire Rochester area. Support is excellent, parking is never a problem, they have their own app, financial planning, loans and mortgages and I believe they do businesses now too.”

I have been a member a long time and I think we need to remember local markets and local companies don't always have the resources as the big guys. “This branch is my old branch and I miss it. I went by there and went in and immediately was greeted with kindness and helped. Even though I still feel ESL needs 24/7 support they really are prompt in resolving issues and are quicker to get a replacement card out to you than KeyBank who does have 23/7 support that really does not do a lot. So given that I was to leave ESL based on issues at my now local branch, but after going back by this branch and the support and honestly I received from corporate. I will gladly be staying and most likely taking the extra trip to visit this branch if ever in need.”

“I do business with a few banks in the area. I recently had a loan from Canandaigua National Bank. I always made my monthly payments in person.
Throughout the term of the loan the professional courtesy and manners of the bank employees was unbeatable.
I've always tried to pay off my loans early to avoid interest and monthly bills, LOL. I will say this, the next time I want a loan I would strongly consider CNB and suggest anyone looking for a bank to also consider them. :)
