I find their seed quality and their hybrids are excellent. Harris is one of the best seed companies in terms of quality. However in terms of cost, they are also one of the most expensive both in shipping and cost of seed.

We ordered the dinner plate dahlias and although I don't think we have let them grow correctly (we messed up on the trimming as they started to grow and directions we could have received with the bulbs would have been helpful) the plants today are huge, wild, and have beautiful flowers. Harris seed has always impressed with their service and special offers. These Bolero Marigold seeds germinated very well, even though I planted them late, so they have not bloomed yet. Harris is my first choice for buying seed.
