Hipocampo Children's Books is an adorable and charming little shop. It is wonderfully curated and full of children's and young adult books, with something for everyone. The store has a good selection, including bilingual books in Spanish and English and books in other languages. The owner is very friendly, helpful, nice, and understanding. It is a very welcoming place and an amazing bookstore for kids. Visitors highly recommend it and cannot wait to return.

Could have been in here all day. Such a beautiful selection of books. Unique finds and amazing staff. Really appreciate the local community in the south wedge!

My favorite children's bookstore in all the land (and by land I mean all lands I have ever set foot on! not just rochester!). The book selection is incredible + they host amazing events for the community + Pamela and Henry are two of the nicest people you will ever meet.
