“I had amazing service at the cafe from Alistare and another associate who's name I didn't catch. Not only did they represent the company well, they made my dietary restrictions (no dairy) a priority when making suggestions. The suggestions took my breakfast from good to amazing, and I will 10/10 be going back to this cafe for more drinks and muffins!”

“Adorable little shop full of children's and young adult books. They have something for everyone and include books in other languages to ensure inclusion. They recently hosted John G (Noodle the pugs owner) for a book reading and signing and the entire place is charming. Whether you have kids, nieces/nephews/nibling or are just looking for a small business to support I cannot recommend Hipocampo enough!”

“What a fascinating store just opposite of the Village Gate in Rochester, off of Goodman St. It has everything from a wonderful selection of books, gifts, jewelry, cards, clothing, reusable shopping bags, crystals, among other things. Sometimes you can sit in the sofa area and have a spot of tea. Either way, one can spend hours in this store, and you'll always find something wonderful for yourself and others.”

“My husband lives this place he has bought 100s of books from here. They have a huge selection but ALOT of sci-fi and fantasy which is our favorites. There prices are so so cheap and the gentlemen and his grand daughter are so kind. We love to swing by there. They also have cool painting and other odds and ends for sale at thrift store prices. In the basment is my favorite lots of old old stuff. I love old stuff. You should deff stop in and spend a few bucks for this place. Family business and if you need something certain and special he'll find it for ya and have it ordered.”

“In this day and age, almost seems everything ( mainly ) books and magazines are digital. ( Library's )
are of course a different area.

Of course there are exceptions like maybe a gas station and groceries stores ( Wegmans/Tops ) there a some of the above that you can pick-up and physically read.

Now enter Barnes & Noble :
Is a Library ( of ) course can not use a Library card to check things out.

But it has tons of magazines, books and so, so, much more.

And a children's area helps you
if looking for something educational.

So if are looking for something unique in a place to find that hidden book or more go to Barnes & Noble.”

“A great place to find unique works. I visited during the Fringe festival for a show hosted here called 'Play in a day' and it was fantastic. Writers and Books is a literary oasis and non-profit organization supporting local creators.
In waiting for my show to begin I found an eclectic assortment of books by local authors in the indie book store within, &Ampersand Books. I did not have enough time to peruse the entire store, but I definitely need to carve out time to come back, and soon.”

“Loved it . I went to get a book by Jerry Eicher. The Amish school teacher. Not only did they not have that particular book, but they had no books by this author as well as none in this genre. The supervisor and I had a wonderful talk about the books, she was pleased to order the book for me, as well as adding a new genre to the library. She said she had never heard of these writings and was going to order the book for me post haste! ?. I was told I was getting homework and then I was given a printout of other Amish fiction authors and told to circle the ones that I wanted and they would be purchased to place into the library. That is great now I have something to look forward to during these cold fall and winter days. I'm glad I changed my mind and went to the small library as opposed to the larger library, now they'll have new books at this location, yay. ? Thank you Shameka!!!”

“I found this while I was on a walk in the area and was really surprised! It's a treasure trove of used books (@ $1 each) with an emphasis on textbooks (@ $5 each). I had a lovely time investigating the shelves and the aisles that are filled to bursting. Piles of books everywhere.I don't know what it's like if you come to this store with a specific book need, but coming in to browse and explore was really good fun.”
