BEWARE!!!!This is why you should take your business to Lowe's OR a different Home Depot. As a longstanding and high-spending customer, with an annual expenditure of approximately $250,000 on materials, it pains me to report that the actions of one individual have led to a severe reconsideration of our business relationship with Home Depot and DEFINITELY this location.The focal point of this issue is the manager, SPENCER, whose evident lack of training and egregious behavior has not only cost your store a significant amount of revenue but has also tarnished the reputation of Home Depot in the eyes of MANY customers.Upon researching other reviews, it is disheartening to find that Spencer's inappropriate conduct is not an isolated incident. Numerous customers, myself included, have been subjected to his rude, arrogant, and overtly racist behavior. A manager is meant to set the tone for the entire store, and in this case, Spencer has fostered an environment that is characterized by unprofessionalism, arrogance, and a severe lack of customer service.To illustrate the gravity of the situation, I must recount an incident where I sought a manager's assistance with an order, only to be met with dismissive and offensive remarks. Spencer's refusal to help, accompanied by name calling is not only unacceptable but goes against the principles of customer service that any reputable business should uphold.I have attached a photo of the manager in question to this communication, with the intent of ensuring the public is well-informed about the individual responsible for such reprehensible behavior.In addition to this review, I will be reaching out to regional management/corporate through a series of emails to ensure that the broader concerns raised by myself and others are thoroughly investigated and addressed. The wellbeing and satisfaction of your customers should be paramount, and I implore you to take swift and decisive action in rectifying this situation.In conclusion, I believe it is in the best interest of Home Depot to seriously reconsider the management and training protocols in place to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future. As a firm believer in the principle that the customer is always right, it is disheartening to see that Spencer has evidently not been instilled with this fundamental ethos.I did end up going to another location, where I know the employees by first name basis simply because they enjoy their job. After asking them about Spencer, they actually knew exactly whom I was referring to simply because of the amount of complaints received about him.I trust that you will treat this matter with the urgency and gravity it deserves.

My recent visit to Home Depot was overall very positive, earning a well-deserved four-star rating. The store's product range is extensive, catering to both casual DIY-ers and professional builders. I was particularly impressed with the quality of the gardening tools and the variety in the paint section.The staff deserves a special mention for their expertise and friendliness, particularly in the lighting department where their guidance was invaluable. However, the store's large size, while allowing for a wide product range, means that items are often far apart. This can make quick trips longer than expected as navigating the vast aisles can be time-consuming.Despite this, the overall experience was good. The store's wide selection and helpful staff make it a go-to destination for home improvement needs, even if it requires a bit more walking.

I went to the store to get plywood. George in the lumber section helped me. He was extremely patient, very professional, resourceful and very kind to not only recommend the correct hinges for my project but also helped put the wood planks together for me. He went over and above helping us!!I was later helped by Maureen at the Service desk to make truck rental arrangements. She went over and above too to stow my items overnight. I am very thankful to George , Maureen and the Home Depot team . You guys rock!! It's a pleasure coming to this place which is so full of kind professionals

Went in to buy a bunch of blinds for a job I have comming up as I shop at this location frequently and there was a sale on the Dewalt tape measures buy 2 of the 25 ft atomic tape measures for 19.98 I believe it was and the site said they had them in stock but I couldn’t find a 2 pack them so I brought 2 singles up to the front when cashing out I asked the guy at the self checkout about the deal he had no clue of anything to do with it.So he called some lady over who was rude shaking her head and told me she has never seen a 2 pack of them.So she grabbed some other guy to come over I won’t mention names but he began to tell me they had them but they were probably gone and couldn’t do anything for me.I had my hope up on getting them as I like Dewalt tools.Everything was very unprofessional and I left unsatisfied.I spent a lot of money in the store and there should’ve been something they could’ve done seeing how it said they had them in stock.Anyway I had to spend my money on a different tape measure.

We are not ones to write negative reviews but this one had to be shared to fairly warn others.Ordered online thru the W. Ridge Rd location for delivery.Sept 2nd: Flat bed arrived with delivery, however missing 4 items due to unsafe travel on flat bed.Tried calling store and noone ever answered.Drove to store, at that time informed to drive to Panarama Trl location (45min drive away). Who then informed us we had to do it all over phone.Again.....never had the phone answered after multiple attempts.Oct 13th I finally got a manager on the phone who said it is still being worked on (6 weeks and still counting).......Oct 14th call main headquarters in Georgia.....their offering:We can ship to us for a $79! Now why on earth would they make us pay when they allready screwed up the first delivery.....After being on the phone for 25min we finally will be receiving a refund (in 5 business days)Due to this we will never shop at Home Depot ever again. Lowes will only be our primary store. Absolutely the worst customer service ever!

Grouchy old man in the paint department needs to be literally fired. He is so incredibly rude to customers. I heard him raise his voice and yell at a customer multiple times for only asking nice questions. I wasn’t in the mood to deal with that for no reason so I simply left.

Picked up 10 more bags of mulch and a couple other items. One of the parking lot guys loaded the mulch into my car. I so appreciate when they offer to help!

I came in to make key copies for my job, for multiple locations 10+ minutes apart, I just asked if the guy had a marker handy so I could mark each copy as it came out, he got perturbed and marked 2 of them himself, then before asking he took all4 keys and threw them into the same bag, leaving me to guess which is which, for no reason too, I wasn’t the least bit rude the entire time, even after he did that with the keys, but now it’s an extra trip or 2 I have to make around town testing which is which. I wish I went to Debbie supply down the street instead.

I usually go to the home Depot on East Ridge Road in Irondequoit. This was the first time I have went to the Penfield store. I was actually quite impressed, the layout of the store was much better, the employees were much friendlier, and their Halloween display was fantastic. I checked out the one at the Hudson Avenue store and no one was even around it. But at the Penfield store there were many people, kids and adults, enjoying the displays. Makes me wish I lived in Penfield.

So disappointed in the manager I delt with. I had a leaf blower to return and I used my debit card and my husband just died and the acct the card was linked to is frozen and since debit confirmed with a pin is as good as cash I asked to receive cash back. The employee said yes but had to call over a manger who was so not sympathetic or nice at all. He seemed like I was annoying him and refused to give me cash back and would only give me a gift card. The reason I’m so upset is the following week I had another item to return and went to the henrietta store and they were beyond helpful and didn’t bat an eyelash to give me cash back and that item was twice as much. I hate when it’s the same company and from store to store you can get a whole different treatment or answer. There is no reason to not have given me cash back. I get there is a lot of theft and fraud but the way he treated me was not nice and he just came across like a young punk. And I will be giving my business to the henrietta store which is twice the distance from my home. Shame on you panorama store. Being considerate to my situation would have been the right thing to do. If I get an actual response I’ll be happy to give you the managers name. Cause he needs customer service training

0 Stars, botched water heater install and needed an emergency RGE call and evacuation of my home in order to save my house and family from a potential disaster when our home filled up with natural gas all day long. Installed barely turned pipe in the thread and used no plumbers dope on the pipe. Also, the plumber never did a soap test or checked for a gas leak before leaving. Absolutely no action or discount provided given the unbelievable circumstances. Person named James calls and told him what transpired and he said he would call back after speaking with the manager and we never rec'd a call back. Customer service in NJ was not helpful and if anything, rude and insensitive to the situation. Will never use them again or shop at home depot and will certainly let everyone I know that safety and security on gas water heater installs isn't a priority at Home Depot.

Over the years Home Depot has become more and more disappointing. The employees here are always wonderful.Specifically this property has less selection than other Home Depot’s in the area. There is no tool rental.Overall HD should pay employees better and invest more in quality products. Offer US made tools people. This review won’t solve these issues but hopefully someone higher up in the company sees it.

Typical of my HD visits, the isles I need to shop in are closed while stock is moved around. I don’t think this was an issue in the past , but it is to common now. The staff was average, with most seeming oblivious to shoppers around them, but pleasant when you got their attention. Kudos to the gentleman at checkout. He was as good as they come anywhere.
