“Losing your loved one is never easy. Dealing with a lifetime of accumulated possessions, while getting a property ready for sale during a time of grief is even more challenging. Trying to achieve all this while also living on a different continent made the task seemingly insurmountable. But the Caring Transitions of Rochester team came to my rescue. Not only were they amazingly kind and compassionate people, but they were experts in working through my specific challenges. Here are some examples: They re-homed a parrot who had just lost it's life-long owner. They cleared out decades of junk and clutter. They worked with a local realtor to get the home staged and looking it's best. They expertly assessed what items should be tossed, donated, or sold at auction. The auction items were carefully advertised, and they got serious bidders to show up. In the end, all clean-up costs were recovered by a large margin. The parrot is now living his best life with a family that can give him the attention he deserves. The home (largely due to their efforts) sold for well over asking price. All the while, I was in South America. I highly recommend this company for your downsizing or estate liquidation needs. They are reasonably priced, do the work quickly and efficiently, and are amazing people to work with.”

Bill has dropped off and moved my POD twice, so far. He is super qualified in everything from customer service, accuracy, efficiency, and critical thinking. He is a true asset, speaking from a manager for around, well, 20-something years (: keep him as best you can!
Angel, or Angelito, is another great surprise! All smiles, timely, kind and problem solving in a pinch, super accurate, very communicative in making sure everything was in just the right spot. His positivity and work ethic add to his value immensely, he has mastered that lift. He saved my day on that move!
Both gentlemen cleanly and gently placed the POD down long driveways, loopy driveways, and crazy black walnut hailstorm. No missing branches, zero lawn damage, and well deserving of gratuities. I owe Angel, still!

“If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.
Rochester moving and storage has provided me with the easiest moving experience i have had in a very long time. They were willing to move me when it was below freezing, in the snow. The owner, Dave, was very understanding when I asked a million questions. And I cannot praise Dave's team enough; these guys are solid.
I was fully prepared to help them, but they had a crew of 6 (very friendly, professional, and sweet) young men come out. I ended up just standing there in awe while they carried things I struggled to even shuffle across the floor. I don't know what these dudes are eating, but it definitely builds muscle and stamina. They didn't even seem to get winded going up and down stairs.
When I was finished being impressed with their physical feats, I was impressed with their skill. Nothing broken, scuffed, or shattered like in previous moves. None of the walls got scratched or damaged. They moved around narrow hallways, low ceilings, and tricky turns like magic. They even worked well with my somewhat questionable packing skills.
If I ever need help moving something, I'm definitely calling them again. The pricing may seem high, but it ends up being fast (they moved an entire 4 family home in about 4 hours) and ultimately cheaper than other places I've worked with. I would go with them again in a heartbeat.”

Very flexible allowing different options for day's and times of availability for your move. The cost per hour for your move is also very reasonable. This move we went from an apartment to a house so it was a full move. As much stuff as we had to move they were very accommodating and took very good care with things.

I am so incredibly grateful that Brett agreed to take on my small job (just 3 items that were all way too big for my car and way too heavy and cumbersome for me to handle on my own) for a short move just a mile away.
