The quality of the storage units has been beyond my expectations, and everything has been clean, secure, and well maintained. You can do almost everything without needing much staff assistance, but if you do need help, they’re incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful.
I lost the keys to my unit and was expecting it to be a huge hassle. Instead, they had my lock cut, got me a new one, and had me on my way in about 20 minutes for around $20. Dave, the manager, was especially wonderful.

Very flexible allowing different options for day's and times of availability for your move. The cost per hour for your move is also very reasonable. This move we went from an apartment to a house so it was a full move. As much stuff as we had to move they were very accommodating and took very good care with things.

I am saddened that the prices go up when the kids from RIT need to store their furniture for summer till they go back to school in September. This punishes everybody else that needs a storage.
You should have a lower price for seniors, we are on a fixed income and cant afford the price increases”

I own a moving company and we rent 1 unit here and 1 at another facility that this company owns. One of our guys left the door to our unit open when grabbing supplies for a job and forgot to close the door. Katrina noticed that our door was open and called me right away to let me know, and then offered to close it up for us.
Self storage often has a reputation of poor customer service (I've been locked inside one before in Churchville and had to call the fire department to take the chain off the gate), but the staff here are on top of it and super friendly.
If you're looking for a storage unit, look no further!”

“A great storage place! We needed to store lots of wood furniture for 6 months and the climate controlled units here kept everything in great shape. The semi moving van was able to drive right up to the unit which made life much easier for the moving crew, esp in bad weather. The entire place is very clean with bright lights, and dry. Their customer service is wonderful, Nick was always helpful, prompt and friendly.”
“I had a unit here for about a year and a half. Very friendly staff and automatic electronic payments so I don't have to fuss around with writing and mailing a check. They also have the best rate around Rochester for a 10x20 unit. I inquired into about 20 different units around Monroe County and Empire Storage had probably the best rate with the nicest and newest facilities. The only minor thing about the units is some of them are in a building that has a dirt road instead of asphalt in front of them, which gets VERY muddy in the spring time. But otherwise, very highly recommended!”
