“My cat Luka started having serious problems and I took him to West Hempstead Animal Hospital where his care has always been top notch. The staff are helpful, friendly knowledgeable and caring. Even though he did not like being there at all, I always felt that he was in the best care.He started deteriorating quickly. Every time I called about something serious that was happening with Luka, I was given an appointment immediately.The doctors and technicians took time to examine him and explain every detail of what they were doing. I felt confident that he would be alright.Unfortunately after a rough week of tests and bloodwork we found out that he had inoperable cancer and there was nothing the doctors could do to prolong his life and/or make him comfortable. I was able to bring him home for one more day so our family could spend time with him.We brought him back the next evening when the hospital was empty where we were all treated with such compassion and dignity, especially our beloved Luka. He closed his beautiful eyes one last time with his family around him and I know he felt our love. As hard as it was for all of us I feel that Dr. Cutler and the staff made it a little easier to say goodbye.Thanks to all of you who helped Luka, and us, on this difficult and heartfelt journey.This was a previous review before Luka became very ill.:Wonderful care for my pet! It was evident that everyone cared about my cat, Luka. He was treated so well, and everyone was very understanding. The doctors took their time explaining in detail what was going on with him as well as giving me feeding instructions and advice about what new changes I should make at home. He doesn't recommend a procedure if he feels it shouldn't be done and has your pets best interest at heart. He talks to your pet and treats him/her like his own. The clinic is small but I can see why it is so busy and highly recommended by others. The doctor and tech were amazing, my 6 month old corgi melted right into their arms as he was getting examined. “I have nothing but great things to say about East Meadow Vet Center. Dr. Olcha is professional, attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. The office is clean and the staff are welcoming and friendly.We took our dog here for the first time after our prior vet was dismissive of our concerns. When we told Dr. Olcha what was happening with our dog, he suggested blood work (which we did) and told us he’d give us a call on Monday with the results. He ended up contacting us the next morning saying that our dog’s blood work results were life-threatening and that we should take her to the emergency vet asap.We are extremely grateful for this vet center having same-day availability, and for Dr. Olcha’s accurate course of action, overall knowledge, and prompt communication. If you are looking for a vet who you can trust and feel confident in their abilities, I highly recommend Dr. Olcha and East Meadow Vet Center.”

He has been through some tough times in his life, but Dr. Saver, Dr. Campbell, and the rest of staff (some of whom I have not met) were and are amazing, as he is now going through yet another rough period and are in constant communication with me on a daily basis. Their medical expertise is second to none. They go far above and beyond and are so kind and compassionate with the animals in their care, and patient with this very nervous cat mom! “I could not be happier with the service and care my pets recieve at East Bay Veterinary Hospital. The front desk staff, nurses and doctors are all top notch professionals. My dog just had a surgical procedure and the recovery has not been easy. I tried my best to keep her calm and away from the wound, but she still managed to open it up twice. It was a disaster, but East Bay took us in right away, stitched her back up, monitored her for the day and didn't charge me any additional fees. They go the extra mile and actually care about your pets. That's great business. Thank you East Bay!”
