I came across this shop at the recommendation of a friend based on his experience with the "Meat Pies" sold at the establishment. The owner, Lisa, carry's Kensington Pies, which are fully cooked, proper British Meat Pies you take home, heat for 25 min and WOW! I'm not kidding...I had the Sheppards Pie tonight, my brother had the Steak and Ale and my sister the Chicken Pot Pie. We are so much more than just happy....we are BLOWN AWAY. I just made a long FB post about it too. Lisa's shop has so much more than just the meat pies...she carry's really fine foods, oils, sauces etc. my family and I can't wait to explore more of the shop has to offer. I'll be back, maybe even tomorrow for the pies!!! Tell Lisa that Erric sent you!

If your a fan of traditional English pies, both sweet and savory, there are now two places for you. They serve fresh and frozen Cornish Pastries, Pork Pie, Steak and Kidney Pie, and others.
The first location, co-located with Antonio's Pizzeria 548 East Meadow Ave, East Meadow, NY 11554, (516) 794-0044, now has an additional location in Simple Fine Food, 80 N. Park Ave, Rockville Center, (516) 608-2200
The pies are very good, with a great crust definitely made by hand. I had the Steak and Kidney (have to call for availability) and a Cherry. Sue the baker does an excellent job with all the pie, with ingredients picked up fresh. Fresh pies are moved to frozen within three days, so nothing sticks around to get stale. Definitely the place to get your English Pie fix.

Nice and clean and self-check out is usually fairly quick. I also like that it’s open 24 hours. $5.99 sushi after 3pm is a good deal too! Bread is always fresh and delicious!

so disappointed. we drove far to get here for my dad who wanted traditional sausage rolls like back home after we were assured on the phone they sell them. Not so...Their dry undated sausage rolls were anything but British--tasted like spicy Italian sausage with the free Agita to boot...not worth it

Vines & Branches is amazing! I just recently had a client that closed on her first Co-Op and bought her a gift basket with all kinds of goodies in it! I told Lisa my budget and left the rest up to her! She sent me a picture of the basket once it was finished and she hand delivered it to my client. The basket came out great and my client loved it so much! I will definitely be coming back here in the future :)

Did a bit of hunting and found simple fine foods carries British style pub pies!. TRUST ME. ITS WORTH THE DRIVE. Drove all the way from Marine Park Brooklyn to Rockville center and bought a bunch of pies, rolls, and pasty's. These are as authentic as you're going to get if you were in Britain. I highly recommend them!!!! Being British born there are things you miss from the motherland. These meat pies are them. Ask Ingrid S. She knows my obsession with pub hunting and these meat pies. The pies are large. Like 6" large and they're 1 pound each!! They weigh a pound!! They aren't a snack or even an appetizer for your beer much like other pies found in Brooklyn or Manhattan. These are the real deal. The staff are great personable people. They offer free delivery most likely on large orders. Each item is individually wrapped and labeled. They take credit and cash. Come relive your British upbringing!! I'll definitely be back for more!

Let me start off by saying the products themselves deserve all five stars, the blood orange and fig basaltic and the Italian lemon olive oil being particular favorites. What isn't so great is the saleswoman. She wasn't wearing her mask when she was alone in the store and then pulled it up half mast (i.e. over mouth but not nose) after I began looking around in the store. Ironically the woman who didn't mind breathing me her unfiltered exhale, didn't want me picking up the bottles I wished to purchase, presumably because she would have to touch them to scan, pack, and sell them to me.
