“I have to give it to Taylor! She has been incredible throughout this entire journey. We have quite a large wedding with quite a few parts especially with the hotel and she is on top of it all. She is super responsive via email and unbelievably helpful. I can't thank her enough for all she's done thus far and continues to do. She has made the incredibly stressful process of having a wedding a little less stressful. I would recommend any brides to work with her! I can't say how it all goes as my wedding hasn't happened yet. But I appreciate her to no end. Just to add to what an ama,ing experience the hilton was. The front deak was polite and super helpful, Jack was the MVP of the day getting our bridal party whatever they needed. He was the best. Rooms were clean. Thank you to everyone at the Hilton for helping make my weekend so special”

“Very basic but you get what you pay for. It definitely is better than the reviews. I was worried based on the reviews staying for two nights being a solo female traveler but it wasn’t as bad as the reviews say. It’s definitely very basic and your typical drive up motel but it got the job done. I had a king, non-smoking room but still had a faint smell of smoke. The bed was decent and the pillows were extremely comfortable. Room was very small but fine as I was solo. Bathroom was barely elbow width apart but was clean. Honestly, can’t complain based on the price. Also, was very well lit outside. I was worried about it being too dark at night getting back late but was very well lit.”

“I go here quite often and the staff is so friendly . It’s the first hotel I’ve stayed at that I see the staff clean most of the day . Not only the rooms but everything . You walk in and it smells clean . They also have a restaurant attached that also has good food . The location is near the expressway for quick access for travel. Close by are eatery’s and stores (groceries as well as clothing stores ) . I can’t wait to stay there again”

“Lands end is a classic Motel. The location on the water is fantastic and my room was modern and clean. Enjoyed several self catered meals at the outdoor seating area in the hedged yard in front of the rooms. Staff was helpful and informative. Neighborhood is very walkable and a mix of active commercial waterfront, residential homes and a county park. Will stay there again!”

“Of my last seven or eight hotel stays, which were mainly Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton Inn by Hilton and Hyatt Place this hotel was head and shoulders superior. It’s a very large and spacious property. The service is fantastic. Very friendly staff. They keep the place in impeccable and again I was really pleasantly surprised. I would’ve thought a Holiday Inn would not be as nice as the affirmation chains when in fact it was far nicer. The room’s better the linens better the breakfast better and the staff better trained friendly happy to be there. Happy to help.”

“Ben you are the man! It was an absolute pleasure to have met you. The ladies at the desk and the entire staff were awesome. The entire hotel inside and out was clean and well maintained cleaned. The breakfast was great and the ice water by the elevators was always available. “I had a wonderful experience at the Residence Inn by Marriott Long Island Holtsville. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was top-notch, but two team members made my visit truly memorable: Justin Sanchez and Ebinoseta. Justin was incredibly professional, welcoming, and attentive. He made sure the check-in process was seamless and went out of his way to answer my questions and ensure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Ebinoseta provided warm, efficient, and thoughtful service that made me feel right at home. It’s rare to find staff who care so genuinely about the guest experience, and both Justin and Ebinoseta truly embody the standard of excellence Marriott is known for. The property itself was spotless, quiet, and well-maintained, with spacious suite accommodations and convenient amenities. Between the clean facilities and the exceptional service, this hotel exceeded my expectations. “Travel for business and stayed 1 night. Parking was a nightmare as the lot was packed and along the entrance curb and even out on street. Staff was very courteous and friendly. Check in was quick and simple. 1 elevator was operating. Room was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable along with pillows. Bathroom was clean. Microwave and refrigerator in room. Many many stores near by and other things to do. High traffic area. Breakfast was provided.”

“It was in the cut quiet and clean the The young lady that works at night was awesome. She even helped me to investigate on some places. That I can move to where there's less sun being that I'm allergic to the Sun. They have very nice greetings. That compliment people and they even waited on me when I had a little disability. So it's great to have people who can just deal with anybody on any term. Please go to America's best value. They are nice to people. They are courteous and they even wake you up when you have to go somewhere and you wanna rush, so just check out. America's best value is in the cut. It's quiet and you can have time to manifest and pray. And take time out for yourself. Have a blessed day.”

“I will say that the location mostly makes up for the deficits regarding the Fire Island Hotel & Bungalows. I should preface this by saying I have only stayed in the bungalows with 2 bed and 1 bath. I have no experience with the hotel rooms. We have mostly positive to say about the two bedroom one bathroom bungalow with large deck and outdoor shower. We loved the outdoor shower/cabana. My Husband wants me to add that the outlets are in serious disrepair causing electrical hazards. The bathroom offers no privacy. It’s dirty at best with a layer of sand covering everything. No housekeeping service FYI- something to consider… The floors are completely worn & look like they have never been waxed or anything like that. There is a layer of sand everywhere. Absolutely zero upkeep… it was seven grand plus for the week - actually one day less than a week. I don’t think there is any housekeeping service. It is basically an Airbnb type of experience… you are completely paying for the location. If you don’t mind - which we didn’t - you will enjoy it here. Upon arrival, we walked in & found the bungalow was stuffy and hot. I found a cockroach. The AC unit in the bedroom spit ice at My Husband when he tried to turn it on. The hotel had stuffed towels under the unit in anticipation of it leaking, I suppose. One night we both were uncomfortable because of the tiny size of the room. There is absolutely nothing on the walls and it can be claustrophobic as a note to those who need a larger space. Thankfully, the main area has vaulted ceiling with a non-operational skylight. The ceiling fan in the main area was covered in dust, which flies around when you turn on the ceiling fan. The pullout couch should not be absolutely not be considered as an option. It is small and old and worn. The temperature was very difficult to control. It was either freezing or hot. I wish they were ceiling fans in the bedrooms but the bedrooms are so small and the ceilings are so low it could not be possible. There is overall very little privacy, so it would only be appropriate for parents traveling with small children, possibly. My Husband and I stayed in one room and I were Daughter and her boyfriend and the other. I really don’t think they renovated much since Hurricane Sandy, but the location cannot be beat. We love Ocean Bay Park and if you also love it, there’s nothing better. We sometimes stay in Ocean Beach at the Palms, which has better amenities and probably more high-end rooms but it’s a busy part of town, which is a blessing and Curse. Personally, I like the piece, but My Husband prefers the poems since not only do you have use of the hotel you are staying in, but you can also use their location on the bay which has kayaks and stand-up paddles. It’s a further walk to the beach from Palms. I love the location of the bungalow at the fire Island Beach House. I would recommend this location if you prefer the pristine nature and wildlife and neighborhood of Ocean Bay Park. This is a very laid-back spot and the staff is friendly They also will hold your luggage so you can enjoy fire Island after you check out. They even take your luggage from the ferry to the hotel and from the hotel to the ferry when you leave. The service was not offered at the Palms.”

“Everyone was so nice who worked here! The gentleman working the front desk when we checked in was nice and funny (I am the Hilton card lady 😀). The ladies who worked the breakfast were nice, smiling and personable. We encountered the ladies with housekeeping and they always looked up smiled and said hello. The room was nice and as pictures indicated. This property overall was nice, clean with a very engaging team. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable!”

“I was respectfully greeded when I approached to reserve a room. The environment was very calm and clean. The plants that surrounded me as I was conversating with the employee to reserve my room....... were all wonderfully "real" and watered to a healthy perfection. When I opened the door to my room...... I was once again very pleased...... because everything was to the standards and clean. The carpet was vacuumed and clean and the bed was neatly prepped with clean covers (also checked the sheets because why not) and...... once again pleasingly clean with a pleasant fragrance of cleanliness. Thank you. For a truly comfortable, peaceful and affordable stay. I was facing a very challenging presentation the next day and I am actually being honest and thankful for my stay at the MacArthur inn...... I am a hard working mother who has three wonderful children and my job unfortunately requires me to travel and sometimes on my own dime and I genuinely always wish there would be a genuine, honest and clean, affordable stay inn's and this was exactly what I imagine. The next day on my presentation I truly aced my goals! All because all the expenses and frustrations were swift away with the honesty of MacArthur inn!Thank you..... sincerely E.S”

“Everything is perfect and immaculate except that the carpet inside the rooms need shampooing or replacing. I always bring my own antibacterial spray cleaner for All hotel stays because most hotels that have non-carpeting also have dirty floors. You can spray the floors, wet 2 wash cloths then clean the floors, and they're always dirty. Carpets in any hotel are rarely sanitized, so unless you are paying top dollar, I don't believe anything less than a 5-star rating is fair for this location. It's beautiful, and almost everything is immaculate And updated. Pet friendly. No pool though.”
