Great reason to take a trip to the hamlet of Highland to enjoy its shops, bars, restaurants, local natural sights, & hiking trails! Pictured here is an order of beef over rice, perfectly seasoned in a mildly spicy experience. The salad & rice cleanse the palate in a healthful & refreshing way. Only complaint is the overly generous offering of tahini (sesame sauce) in a non-leak-resistant container; had I traveled a longer distance before enjoying my lunch, the sauce probably would've leaked all over the contents of the bag.”
“This is a great little store with friendly and helpful staff. I got coffee and some sweets. The coffee was really good, and the sweets were fresh and tasty. It’s a nice, well-kept shop.
I needed to rent a U-Haul, and the process was quick and easy. The truck was clean and ready to go with all the equipment I needed. Deval was a big help. He loaded the equipment into the truck and made both pickup and drop-off smooth and hassle-free.
Great service all around. I highly recommend this location for both U-Haul rentals and a quick stop at the store!”
“Stopped by Cedar Street Deli to give Akram his Best of Ulster stickers. Cedar Street was voted best chopped cheese in Ulster a few months back. Cedar Street is such a hidden gem. Chicken wings and fish breaded in house never frozen. Lamb over rice, over fries, over salad, over anything you want. House made white sauce is the perfect condiment on anything. Keep up the good work Akram.”
“Nothing to say other than top notch service and care. They give you so much meat in the sandwiches to the point you think you’re stealing. ? Love the family essence of the store… everything is wonderful. If you get the chance to visit while their local homegrown tomatoes are being harvested.. you will never want any tomato other than theirs!!

“Exactly the stop to make on your way into the mountains. Stopped here for a breakfast sandwich and lunch sandwich on my way to Lake Minnewaska this morning and the place was awesome! Also great beers and a bunch of outdoor picnic tables”
“This is an important place in the neighborhood. You can get a really good breakfast coffee, gasoline. It’s a little bit of a local hangout and if you spend 10 gallons, you get a free coffee but only a small coffee. I’ve been going here for years and I try to shop here because years and years ago when no one had Internet, this guy would let you use his Internet for free.”

“I'm in 4 different Stewart's shops a day. Great coffee, ice cream and pizza. But the nicest Stewart's employees of any shop I've been in are off route 28 in the Stewart's shop in Hurley NY.
Always friendly faces, very helpful, very pleasant... If I had to work I'm a Stewart's shop, this would be the location I'd choose”
“I travel alot and my stops are always stewarts in different areas for coffee,snack and to use the bathroom . This shop the manager Donna is always so nice and every one of the staff greets me as soon as the door opens. It's so nice makes me smile. Then the coffee is always fresh and my boyfriend appreciates that then last is the bathroom, it is the cleanest so far in any stewarts even the new ones. So thank you very much fir your service.”
“I had an incredible experience! The food was absolutely delicious, every bite bursting with flavor. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and they have a comfortable dining area perfect for relaxing. The highlight was the huge TV showing the World Cup—it really brought the whole place alive! Hands down one of the best spots I’ve been to—I’ll definitely be back!”
“As far as I know this is just the Mobil store. Good Beer Cave and pretty average gas station fare in terms of options. They do do some sandwiches and a Hallel spinner thing though I've never tried any of it.”

“Very busy place. Lots of gas pumps. Reasonable selection of food for a typical convenience store. There is a Dunkin Donuts inside as well as a drive thru. Store is clean and well staffed. Would be 5 stars if not for the high gas prices compared to other stations. It is 1/4 mile off of the Taconic Pkwy.”

“The nice thing about Stewart's shops is that they're generally similar across the board. They are predictable. Inconsistent. But their prices leave a little to be desired. Customer service is actually emphasized and although I run into a few unpleasant individuals working in some of the steward shops usually they get filtered out in short order.”

“Most helpful pharmacist and pharmacy techician I have ever dealt with. (One example: I had a reaction to a certain generic medication that I need to take. Despite his being very busy, the pharmacist spent what seemed to be hours fixing the problem for me.) Every interaction with him and his assistant has proven them to be kind, helpful, porofessional and not judgemental. As long as they remain at this location, I will remain a customer.”
