“I would like to commend a woman named ‘Kim’ for helping me this morning on the phone. Since early June when I submitted my request for a transfer of ‘temporary’ mail thru what I thought was USPS.com, to my daughter’s in MA, I first wound up unknowingly on a scam site, which charged my crcd $99.95, took about 5 weeks to get my $ back, tried in vain to correct my mail delivery as it wound up to be ‘permanent’. Finally today, I got real help, I am forever grateful for this employee. I contacted the 800# for Clifton Park/Halfmoon P.O.Thank her again for me.Donna & William Shanahan35 Linden Park DrClifton Park NY. 12065”
“This post office is wonderful. Everyone is terrific from start to finish. I drive down from Exit 10/11 just to use the Exit 8 post office. Thank you for taking special care of our mail!”
“Every time I use the post office on Washington Ave, the staff are always very pleasant and honest with what additional services I should purchase (ex: insurance with tracking, expedite passport info, etc) when shipping a package or applying for a passport. And If there is a long line, it seems to move pretty smoothly. This is the only location I l prefer doing business with.”
“I was there on July 1,2023 and met the friendliest and niceness Lady clerk ! She's helped me with the package I was mailing that day. Thank you! You made my day, a month, a year. In 24 years never met anyone behind that counter as great as you are. ❤️”
“I recently had an extremely poor experience at this post office in Malta / Ballston Spa. However, I go there often and I usually see my same guy, and I'd rather write what I think is the more accurate review of this post office just in case someone was there today and had a similar experience to mine with the employees.
His name is on the tip of my tongue, I usually thank him by name, but there's gentleman that works there that is not overly friendly but he is very congenial. It's usually not a very busy post office, it wasn't recently, and he was not there during this visit. If he sees me kind of struggling trying to figure out which size priority mailbox to use,he will, if he can, come around and help me find the right size box and usually I'm shipping small things and I have a QR code because someone else pays the postage. One day with this gentleman, we were trying to get a pair of shoes into this box and just could not do it and he said we're going to have to put it in this other box, which did not have sticky closure stuff on it. He grabbed the box and he brought it up there and I was about to tell him that I didn't bring any money for tape because of the QR code I just have my phone but I didn't even have to do that. He just closed the small box, he had tape right next to him and he just used a few pieces and taped up my box, probably two pieces of tape, maybe three.
I worked.for many small businesses, and if you have worked for any business that works with the public there's usually some sort of gray area of kindness or going out of your way that you can do and this gentleman did it that day. I thanked him several times and told him that it was very kind and that my package looked so safe and that he didn't have to do that for me but thank you!
Transportation is usually something I have to arrange and this gentleman didn't know that, he was just doing his job and he probably didn't even think that much about it but it made my day. Two pieces of tape. I will write another review once I remember his name! I know that is so sad that I don't remember but I do remember what he did for me. I hope that you, as a post office customer, reading this, encounter this exemplary employee when you go there.
I have no skin in the game, I don't know this guy,. but he deserves to recognized, and certainly not lumped into what could have been a bad review. after my experience recently.”
“Patient, accommodating and friendly staff, particularly John. I had 3 priority mail packages to send and I was with my 2 year old so I was already anxious coming in. I prepared all packages at home and prefilled the customs forms (like I usually do) to make processing at the counter “easier and quick”. I’ve always had unpleasant experiences at the post office (Jessup, Maryland) when sending 2 or more packages and had in the past been told to call ahead to make an appointment due to the number of packages I had to send which was 2-4. These particular packages needed to be sent today and I was nervous coming in without an appointment and I had my 2 year old. I was first greeted by a lovely staff member whose name I wish I got. At the counter, John was warm, friendly, accommodating and more importantly, patient with me and my daughter. I can’t thank him enough. USPS at the Nott St location provided the best customer service experience and have gained a regular customer.”

“For a long time our whole area had a lot of trouble with our mail delivery, but I'm so happy to say that seems to be a thing of the past. For the past few months we've had a mail carrier that is the absolute best! She is friendly, kind to our 2 barking dogs, and can always be counted on to deliver our mail. Today she drove the length of our mostly plowed, but still snowy driveway during a horrible snowstorm to deliver a package to me. Still had a smile on her face and her usual upbeat attitude. This woman is amazing. Please, please , Stillwater Post Office... this woman deserves a raise. We need to keep her around.”
“Great People. I Went In About A Month Ago 15 Minutes To Close On A Friday. Had To Mail A Big Envelope Out. A Woman And A Man Working. No Problem. I Had Them Write Their Names On Receipt Because They Were Nice. Lost Said Receipt. Thank You Both.”
“Polite, efficient staff and great selection of stamps, greeting cards, boxes, packing tape and bubble packages that many post offices don't stock anymore. Spacious and well organized. Great experience. Thank you-- dealing with the public across a counter is not pleasant. Nice to find a good post office branch.”

“Darryl ? I think that was his name in the voicemail he left me. The Postmaster. I had a lost package in the mail that contained a very expensive item. It got “lost” at the Brooklyn post office. Although I missed his call, Darryl made contact with the Brooklyn office to locate my package. I eventually received the package after a week or so after he contacted me. Also, I never contacted this post office directly. I made an online inquiry and they must have forwarded it to the appropriate office. Thanks so much Darryl !”
“Maybe I shouldn't spread this around, but during the holidays, when most post offices are sheer madness, this one is usually not busy. They are only open two hours on Sat. mornings, but I discovered one year how much of an advantage it is to go here those last couple of weekends before Christmas!”
