Having seen horror stories on YouTube about people buying "rusty crusty" cars through the Internet made me especially cautious. Therefore, I chose to buy a car through Verrillo Motor Car Co. in New York, and I can confirm they are a very serious and trustworthy family business company. Since they are collectors themselves, they do business in a different way, compared to your typical car dealer. I bought a 1966 Mosport Green Corvette Coupe, big block 427, manual gear with only 22’200 original milage! I was extremely happy receiving the car after the 2-month shipping procedure to Switzerland. “I bought a 15 year old Honda sedan from here 3 years ago and had a pretty decent experience overall. It was well priced, below KBB value and had 180k miles on it. No major problems with it. They told me multiple times that the driver's seat had adjustment issues and thus gave me an additional discount on the car, but other than being a little slow occasionally, I had no issues with the seat.However, the sunroof I was told was fine but it ended up getting stuck shortly after I bought it and I had to have it fixed. Buying it in the middle of winter, myself and DARS believed it was stuck because of the cold. It ended up being an unusual repair and took a few visits but DARS paid for the whole thing. I wonder now if they even made money off of the car to be honest. A little less than a year later the sunroof finally stopped working again and the only way to fix it was to replace the whole thing. It was genuinely a somewhat different issue with it, so I think more of a unfortunate situation overall.The car ran well otherwise like any old car you'd expect, so mechanically it was completely fine. They replaced one of the rear window switches before I bought it as well. DARS was easy to work with and were available when I needed to be there. They walked me through the process and had the car cleaned up before I bought it. They could have put the inspection sticker on a little more straight though.I owned it for a little less than 2 years, and other than issues I caused myself and the sunroof, the only problem I ever had was replacing an O2 sensor, so not too bad for a 15 year old car. While I owned it a couple shops told me that the car was mechanically in good condition for its age and looked pretty good on the underneath. It also burned oil a little, however this was a common issue with these Hondas once they got pretty old. I found adding some oil a couple thousand miles before the oil change avoided any issues.It ended up getting into a minor accident right around 199k miles and it wasn't worth the expense to repair it, so i sent it to the junkyard. The accident was unrelated to anything mechanically with the car I believe if it was never in an accident it could have gone much longer than the 199k.”

“Went to the dealership on Saturday and found a nice Nissan Pickup for my wife. Joseph was our salesman and he went over the truck with us, put on a plate and off we went. While out for the drive they ran all our info and in return had decent numbers for us. We agreed and bought the truck. We were going to pick it up on Thursday of the following week after being detailed and everything but the wife’s truck broke down on her way to work Monday. I called Joseph and he said I’ll see what I can do. About 4:30 pm I got a call that the truck was ready and to come get it. They expedited everything and took great care of us. This was by far the fastest, easiest, and friendliest car buy experience I’ve ever had. I highly suggest you go visit Joe and the team!!!”
