“We're taking a day trip around Penn Yan to find local Amish and Old Order Mennonite run stores and food. This store was a classic example. They had lots of local foods, a deli, some baked goods, canned foods, jams, candies, cheeses, and bulk foods and ingredients. They had a few Amish goods that I recognized as being shipped from Lancaster and Indiana Amish areas. The staff were very friendly, and this was a great stop!”

“Not bad! It's a cash-only convenience store, prices same if not cheaper than the corporate convenience stores in the area. Limited grocery selection. Walk-In beer cooler with a decent selection. Lots of ice cream. Plenty of on-street parking, and a large municipal parking lot is behind the store.”
