“Been shopping here online for 10 years. Then I pick it up sometime after they say it’s ready. Great selection, and the best prices in Metro NY. Haven’t had any issues. Highly recommend Rye Brook Wines via online shopping only!!!”
“I have enjoyed buying wines from Daniel Posner/Grapes for 20+ years. While I definitely do not agree with all of his recommendations, his wine knowledge is encyclopedic; more importantly, his wine prices are very competitive. If you can survive his delusional writing about the Jets during football season and just pay attention to his deals, you will be as satisfied as I have been. Really should be 4.7 Stars but that's not an option.”
“Lucky to have this place near by. Owner is super friendly and helpful if you need to make a wine choice. Order online most of the time but stop in from time to time. Reasonable pricing and great service has me coming back.”
“I went into Stonegate Wines yesterday, as I often do and it’s truly the Cheers of wine shops. Patrick and Jason are always welcoming no matter if it’s your first time or 100th time shopping there. Their knowledge will always point you in the right direction if you’re looking for yourself or someone else, they have it. The shop is always stocked well, neatly and the various gift boxes made in house are unique that you can’t find anywhere else! If you’re looking for a friendly place, great products, good conversation, tastings or any combination of, check them out!!”
“Great experience ordering/receiving beer. I like how fast they send out the beer with a tracking number unlike Tavour which you have no clue of where it is and when it'll arrive. Thank y'all so much for the hard work and keeping us dehydrated 🍻”
“Full disclosure: I've only placed one online order with Bottle Grove, so I can't speak to the experience of shopping there physically. But what an excellent experience I had.I placed an order in late August 2023. Within minutes, I received an email from Chris that the following week would be too hot to safely ship wine, but that if this was an urgent order, they could make it happen. I never would have thought of this, and never would have expected a vendor to put this much thought into their fulfillment. I accepted their offer to hold shipment until the weather turned around, and received a follow-up note confirming the bottle was gift wrapped and shipped (with tracking number provided!) from another member of the team, Matthew.Bottle Grove is doing customer service and fulfillment the right way! Thank you!”
“Beautiful Store and Great Service.
Stopped by yesterday morning (8/9/24), and was immediately greeted by Joe who was very helpful and informative about the product I was interested in purchasing - Mija Sangria.
I would definitely recommend this store: neat, clean, nice layout and most of all GREAT PRICES & SERVICE.
Thanks again Joe.
Irma.”
“Top-shelf options. Mike is super knowledgeable and has a great understanding of the businesses and their products. Looking forward to more purchases. Everything you're looking for (or more likely better) is here. I promise.”
“Paul and Chris do an amazing job with their selection of wines. Local shop that is super high-touch, with a great range of wines from everyday to things you wouldn't normally think to try or buy. Always great recommendations and they can get just about anything you want, including non-wine spirits. Definitely drop in, tell them you read my review and recommendation. I don't get anything from this, just the satisfaction of helping a great local business with really nice people.”
“The best - they continue to provide excellent value and are always very helpful. Trust in them for recommendations - I've been coming to them for years and they always exceed my expectations - excellent bang for the buck!”
“I've used River Valley Wine Cellars for a few years now to assist with collecting and delivering wine in the greater NYC area. I've recently had them package some wines for FedEx air freight as well. They have been nothing but courteous, kind, and responsive. Great team!”
“As much as I would like to, in good consciousness, I can't gatekeep this place. While, yes, the space is small, they cram an impressive assortment of product on their shelves. I had the privilege of being assisted by the owner of the shop who was unbelievably helpful in finding what I needed - a mix of liquor for my engagement party. I have not a single clue about flavor profiles of Champaign, I just needed something that was delicious and price effective. The owner made his recommendation, and I walked away with a bottle to sample at home. The bottle ended up being absolutely delicious, so I returned the next week for a few cases. Main Wines also has an extensive Whiskey and Wine selection - again, small shelves, but they seem to pack the hits here as well as some allocated bottles. I bought some whiskies and vodka along with my cases for those who imbibe, and was all set for my party (I even received complements on my selection...spoiler alert, I didn't pick them, the owner did). I hope to see Main Wines grow over the next few years, and I hope all the apartments they're throwing up around town will help with that effort. I'll certainly be back for my future needs!”

“Excellent liquor store with excellent service. Raj the Owner is one of the most personable people I have ever met. Regardless of your pallet, you are sure to find what you were looking for here.”
“Best liquor store in the area. Amazing selection of both wine and spirits, and good prices (helped by the fact they regularly have coupons in local coupon books/mailings).”
“Alex is an outstanding businessman who genuinely cares about his customers. He goes above and beyond to offer great prices without compromising on quality. Always friendly and attentive, Alex makes every experience at his store a pleasure.”
“Wish I could give Peter 6 STARS. Lovely man and so accommodating to send a gift to our customer. Will highly recommend their services . Keep up the excellent work...and we will call again . Many Thanks Christine Simkin”
“My wife and I stopped in here to buy a gift for some friends hosting us for dinner. I didn't get her name, but the woman working was delightfully helpful in helping us pick a bottle. I'd come back in a heartbeat.”
“When they found out I was getting a bottle as a gift, they offered to wrap it very nicely at no extra charge. Great service, attentive staff, and friendly people. Very good selection considering it's a small shop on the corner.”

“The store is much much bigger than you could even imagine. You walk in and it seems as if you’d enter the mecca of wine & spirits. The staff is incredibly helpful in guiding me through some decisions and educating me on my choices. They even carried the bottles to my car. You come for a quick stop but stay for the hospitality and abundant wine selection! I’ll be coming back for the tastings too.”
“This North Stamford wine store has a great selection of red wines, and particularly excellent French reds and hard-to-find Margaux. Very nice atmosphere and helpful staff and owner. Perfect location with tons of parking too. Highly recommend.”
“Best beer in Westchester, great selection of everything you could possibly want and more. Soda's and ice are always on hand. Great, great knowledge staff and super friendly. Always going the extra mile for their customers. I wouldn't buy beer anywhere else !!!”
“Great owner. Super knowledgeable. Some of the best whiskey and tequila selections per square foot i have ever seen. Has all of the great additive free tequilas, from Fortaleza to Tears of Llorona. Little hidden gem”
“Store is wall stock with a wide variety of wines and liquors. The prices are also quite competitive and reasonable. Storage clean and staff is quite friendly and ready to help with your selection and answer questions for your purchase and for your interest of wines and liquors. I would suggest trying them if you like call them see what they have for you it might surprise you and you too may be a repeat customer.”
“Wow. this is an amazing place. It's light, airy and welcoming. I've visited several times and it's always terrific. Robert is warm, friendly and more knowledgable on *both* wines and liquors than just about anyone on the planet. Prices are fair and it's overall terrific!”
“I love supporting local businesses, but this one, in particular, is truly something special. the owners have created such a welcoming and warm atmosphere that makes every visit feel like a treat. && Alex is absolutely my favorite—his knowledge is incredible, and his personality is so pleasant that I always leave with a smile on my face :)
They often host Friday tastings, whether it’s wine or something else fun, and occasionally feature live music like piano performances, which just adds to the charm. Honestly the vibe here is unmatched, and I genuinely look forward to stopping by, whether it’s at the end of a long week or just to brighten my day. (even when I don't need anything in peticular, and just happen to be in the area.) this place is a gem in the community, && I couldn’t recommend it more. 10/10 *chefs kiss*”
“This place is absolutely amazing. The selection is top notch, the owner Thierry is very intentional with the wines he carries. It’s the most unique selection you will find anywhere. Fantastic!”
“I’ve been a customer for many years. I appreciate the quality of the wine and recommendations I’m given to try different wines. Very knowledgeable staff 😊”
“I placed an order through Uber and was having a hard time with my Uber driver. I called asking about my order and they called and double checked to make sure they got it. GREAT customer service!”

“As always, a pleasure to pick up my wine at the Wine Cellar in Rye Ridge! Kim knows my favorites and even anticipates what new wines I may like to try. She is so knowledgeable and accommodating. Cheers!”
