“Don't listen to the other incoherently rambling Yelp review bashing this place or its hardworking employees. (Who are saints for having to put up with entitled old codgers and cranky townies all day.) Stewart's is a regional treasure and this one is terrific. Having recently been rebuilt, it's better than ever. They even have a BEER CAVE now (AKA a large refrigerated room chock full of craft beer, domestics, imports, and local brews). Prices are reasonable and the convenient location can't be beat. Their cold brew iced coffee is delicious and absolutely crushes Starbucks or other "fancy" coffee shops. And get this: employees have equity in the company. How cool is that? Skip the rest stop and pull off Exit 29 instead.”
“Nothing to write home about. There is a reasonable selection of snacks and such in the adjacent store but the real draw is that fuel was 20 cents a gallon less. Don't know how they do it but I'll take it.”
“We have been bringing our vehicles here for years and always have had the best experience. Recently bought a car here and it was the easiest car buying experience we have ever had. Car had a break line leak shortly after we bought it and the owner came to our house picked up the car and had fixed before we got out of work and at no expense to us. “Very nice restaurant inside. Very fresh food and larger servings, at fair prices. The water glass was topped off, as it got lower without having to wait or ask. Coffee was hot and fresh, and again, always topped off without a wait or having to ask. The airconditioning was set correctly, not to cold, not to hot. Bathroom was super clean. Also had a well stocked convenient store, and gasoline for sale at a fair price.”

“Whenever we visit family that is in the area, my children and I make sure we visit Stewart's first thing. We especially miss the breakfast sandwiches (hard roll) among the other delicious choices. On our last recent visit, our choice of sandwich wasn't in the display case. We asked if they could make it for us, despite being busy. Both times, Donna was very nice and eager to do so. It was very appreciated to see someone go above and beyond and to be so kind.”

“Stewart is quintessential Upstate New York and the unofficial center of several hundred small communities, where folks check in, coffee up, treat kids with ice cream, and fill up, helped by always-friendly staff. It's also the only chain location I'm aware of - in the country - where tire air is always proudly free and available. Such little kindnesses instill brand and customer loyalty.”
“Very Clean. Well stocked. Was able to pick up two (yummy) cheeseburgers for lunch. Lady behind counter even helped me get some honey mustard packets that weren't out for use. Quickly in and out. Next time I'm in the area, this Stewart's is a must stop.”
“Turn off the car, get out, stick in your card, follow the menu, forget about the gas cap, go back and pop the lid, stick in the nozzle, and squeeze the trigger. If you’ve pumped gas before you’ll find yourself in familiar territory. Fine and efficient here. If you’re new to gas, plan on taking a few extra minutes — savor the new experience.”
