“The Sayville Brinkmann store is the absolute best! They are so helpful, the store is clean and beautiful. They carry everything you need! I brought in a lamp today that I was having an issue with. Gabe offered to take a look, and within 15 minutes I had my lamp fixed and even better than it was before. A few weeks back i needed glass replaced on a painting, and they replaced that for a reasonable price as well. Thank you Gabe and Sayville Brinkmann for being the best hardware store around!”

“I was shopping for a specific BBQ and found they had it for less than everyone else so I went there to buy it. I was skeptical of a catch but the girl behind the counter confirmed the price. She was excellent as well as the manager. They arranged for delivery and it arrived on time and assembled perfectly. This place is out of the way for me but I will be a regular customer from now on.”

“The shopping experience here is great; far better than the big box stores. Not only are you greeted personally when you come in but for a small store they have an amazing inventory. Not only are they fully stocked with inventory but if you have problem to fix and have not been able to figure out a solution the owners often can make a suggestion that enables you to fix the issue. “I own Perfect Bodies Auto Body and we by alot of tools and equipment from our local Bohemia store. I highly reccomend this particular store. It is so organized and the store supervisor Christine could not be more helpful and the instore employees are amazing kind and helpful also . We love shopping at this branch”
“Its Harbor Freight. Dirt cheap prices for disposible Chinese tools. Chaotic service run by “Dee-da-dee“ employees, but what else is new. If there is more then a few people in the store plan on waiting in a long long to check out. Low end knick knacks are great here.
Most equipment is fairly decent and will last a while, basic non-powered items can be as good as bigbox store stuff . Anything powered are usually throw aways.

“There is something to be said for local shops. I bought the wrong paint and James and Vicky were so accommodating and friendly and helped me out in the return of a custom paint. While we were doing the return and processing the new paint, we shot the breeze and got to know each other. Ill go here first for any home needs I have for the next 20 years. People make a company. And all customers want these days is a sense of community and nice people to talk to. A nice chat and friendly smiles reminded me of why I love living here. Give these two a nice Christmas bonus - they earned a customer for life for your business. Honestly.”

“Was looking to purchase a certain small parts organizer bin which happened to be up in the overhead by the organizers. Walked the entire store and couldnt find a floor employee until i got over to garden. A nice older gentleman was able to help and led me to Jillian. She was quick to help and get me what i needed. The 5 stars are not for the store but solely on her performance of helping me out.”
“I ordered 2 oval matte black closet rods after measuring the distance between the walls myself and when they arrived one was a bit short. (They ask you to measure exact distance between the walls and they'll send the correct length rod) Unfortunately I was off by 1/4" (walls are not plumb) and that meant I got the wrong size rod. I called and they told me they would send another rod whatever length I wanted as long as I paid shipping. I thought that was very fair and the new rod arrived 2 days later and fits perfectly.”

“This is a clean and well stocked Home Depot. If you can get an employee to help you, they are nice, helpful and many speak Spanish. They had everything that I was looking for and it was all easy to find. The store layout is similar to other Home Depots, so it did not take long to get what I needed. The parking lot is a disaster. It is not well maintained, there are pot holes and garbage all over and lighting is not that great at night.”
“Ever since moving to Long Island, I have found myself at Home Depot more times than I would have imagined. It's so great that they're located very close to my home. They have all of the essentials and offer a very affordable price. Generally, the customer service is good, however I have noticed that there is an apparent staff shortage at times. I found myself waiting 20 minutes to get help with my project and had asked the manager multiple times for available team member for assistance. I did ultimately receive the help and I was given a 10% discount for the trouble. Parking is always plentiful and the store is neat and organized. Pretty much has anything for your home needs indoors and outdoors. Shoutout to Krissy for her excellent customer service and providing me with a discount.”

“So needed a new front door lock, went to depot first and received 0 help trying to track down the correct lock, when I figured it out I couldn’t get keys and I don’t like the self service machine, now headed to Lowe’s in lake grove, fretted as I walk in this employee asked what I needed then walked me straight to the locks, he made 4 extra keys and tested them onsite… that’s what service is about…”
