“Planned to bring my 3 cats for flea baths while the exterminator was bombing out our home. The guy working was really knowledgeable and told me he couldn’t see any on them. I had used Advantage on them 3 weeks prior and didn’t know it would have been too soon for a flea bath if they had needed one. I’m glad he was honest because he said it could have been dangerous for my cats to get the bath. Who knows, other places might have not cared and done it anyway. He let me board them and the dogs while the exterminator took care of the fleas, very nice guy. He has a new customer”
“What a great selection of fresh ingredients of dog food, treats, and cakes for dogs. Sure a little expensive but it’s fresh real products, which would cost and take time a lot more if we made them at home. Worth every penny and lovely service.”

“I’ve been a customer with Farmingville Feed for approximately 6 months. I use them to get my mini-dachshund groomed every few months. I have always been comfortable with each grooming session, and have always been pleased with how my pup looks. Laurie is friendly, attentive, and always handles my dog with care. Laurie’s grooming is always done efficiently, and my pup looks adorable and smells amazing every time! Overall, I would highly recommend Farmingville Feed to anyone in need of a professional pet grooming service that is reliable and top-notch!”
“I am giving them 4 1/2. Stars !!!!!!!!!! I have been in the store about 20 times since I adopted my Lab puppy in march of 23. Mostly because they have a large variety of dog products, food, bully sticks toys etc. . Their prices are a bit higher or equal to that of the chain stores. But they carry so many items in stock on their shelves it's worth it. Example! My pup is a chewer, loves bully sticks, they have them in all sizes, shapes imaginable including a three foot bully stick. You're lucky if you can find any in the big box stores without ordering on line. I mostly shop in the Selden store, and have been helped by many different employees, all of them have been extremely polite and courteous every time. Never had a problem with any of their employees. Just wanted to mention this because of all the negative reviews on their employees.”

“I've been searching for a good reliable groomer for over 3 years for my Labradoodle. After six different places, I was referred to Janice at South Shore Grooming. I called and left a message on Saturday and got a call back within 24hrs for a Monday appointment. I have to admit I was a little anxious, especially after having no luck with the previous groomers. I dropped off my furbaby at 10am and got a ball back by 12pm that she was ready. I was surprised to say the least since in the past it's taken at least 4+ hours at all the other places. But when I got there I was pleasantly surprised. Janice was able to accomplish what no other groomer had, she managed to do a full grooming on my relatively big (75+ lbs) girl, without having to air dry her or keep her in a kennel for longer than needed. Keke (my furbaby) was absolutely excited to see me but what I noticed was that she didn't look sad like she normally did after our previous grooming sessions. Janice took real good care of Keke and you could visibly see how happy she was. I feel like I just hit the jackpot finding Janice so close by. Thank you for taking such good care of my furbaby and making her look and smell great!!! I can officially say I have found a groomers for LIFE!!!!! If you need a reliable, fast and courteous groomer look no further than South Shore Grooming for all your needs, you will not regret it!”

“I adopted Molly from Long Island Feline Adoption Center in January 2023 and Im glad i did and its been nothing but joy and love ever since. Molly is my first cat and I definitely was a bit nervous as I only had dogs previously and I knew the breeds were definitely different. As soon as I arrived at Feline Adoption Center Cheryll took her time to get to know me and my living situation and what I was looking for and matched me with Molly. I came in on a Monday and visited every day that week and went home with Molly that Saturday. Molly is such a sweet, beautiful and well behaved cat. Im so lucky to have her and Im so thankful to Cheryll for matching us Molly is what was missing from my life. Molly is so comfortable in her new home and its only been 5 months and I know that love and joy is only going to continue to grow as I hope she lives a long & happy life. Thank you so much to Cheryll and Long Island Feline Adoption Center!!! You are the BEST!!”
“I have to be honest, when looking for a rehab I skipped this one because of the low stars. The one we picked was awful. I had to pull my father out. a friend then recommended Island. When I first walked in, it was 10pm. I noticed how absolutely clean the facility was. The staff was welcoming. They made my father feel so welcomed. Everyone is so nice. They communicate every aspect of my fathers care. The physical therapists are great. The bathrooms are clean and stocked. My father is a picky eater and they do not stop trying different food so that he eats. the nurses are awesome. I can't say enough how great they all are. Not one issue. The staff answers quickly to the call button. They make sure my father is comfortable. If you are looking for a rehab for a loved one, I strongly recommend Island.”

“I had a great experience here today. I came in with my daughter who is turning 3 in a few days. She’s been asking for a pet bunny for her birthday and after unsuccessfully checking chain stores in the area, I realized that this place was in our town and only a couple miles from our house. I didn’t know what to expect going in but had a wonderful experience. It’s much bigger of a store than I thought it would be and the staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming of a toddler coming in without a stroller. I held my daughter at first as we acclimated and then put her down when we got to the bunnies. All of the staff members who came by us were smiling and in great spirits with good customer service. Once I told someone we were interested in buying a bunny, a female customer service rep helped me and my daughter by giving us all of the information I need to know about bringing home a bunny and she was incredibly patient in letting my little girl pet the available bunnies and decide which she wanted. She was extremely knowledgeable about the bunnies and their policies and procedures for buying one. We made our deposit at the front desk with another rep who was great. We are so excited to pick up our new bunny in a few days and am so glad to know of this gem right by our house!”

“I love this location, everyone is always so friendly. I also feel like the individuals that I've spoken to about pet care really know what they are talking about. They have done a great job in updating many of the care brochures over the years.
I still believe Petsmart as a whole should really evaluating the methods in which some of these animals are obtained. Responsible breeding is one thing, but there are still too many people who are not doing right by the animals. They need to be sure they are not supporting anyone like that.”
