“I was in a time crunch and in need of a quick resizing of my wedding band. I haven’t been able to take it off for 15 years and yesterday I tried the floss technique, on a whim. It was 2 days before going on vacation, and I was shocked that it worked!! Needless to say, I did not want to put it back on my finger, but I also didn’t want to go on vacation without my wedding band. Why did I do this right before vacation when I have a million things to do?! A quick search revealed several jewelers in the area, but Elegant Jewelry stood out because of their overwhelmingly positive reviews and the mention that they have been around for many years. Well!!! The reviews were spot on!! In business over 30 years and it was clear why—Arsen is amazing and the rest of the staff are true gems! Not only did Arsen resize my wedding band and make it look like new in an hour, but he also noticed the unpolished state of my engagement ring and offered to quickly make it as beautiful as my wedding band at no additional cost. What a class act! As I was leaving I noticed exactly the pair of earrings I have been searching for, so I will definitely be back with some old trade-in jewelry. I live 40 minutes away and just happened to be in Patchogue for the afternoon, but I will happily make the drive again after my vacation because of the quality of service and the quality of the staff.”

“The prices were respectable and frankly I can't complain about them. The service was STELLAR, and almost seemed free if you consider the usual retail prices for silver.TLDR: They shortened a chain to my perfect length, made a bracelet from the spare links, and made a new bail for my pendant, making no fuss about any of it whatsoever throughout the whole process. And I can't emphasize enough how reasonable their prices are if you need any work done.Steve was beyond helpful. (I'm pretty sure Amanda) was lovely and helped me find the perfect chain, but it was way longer than I wanted. Not only did Steve shorten the chain for me, they are also turning the spare length into a bracelet! Steve even measured the chain on me to make sure that the length I wanted matched the length I asked for. On top of that, I have a pendant that's incredibly important that I wanted to put on one of their chains, but the bail was beaten to heck and way too small. They added a new, sturdy bail and attached it for me.All in all, two sterling silver chains, a bail, shortening a chain, and putting a rush on all of it only cost me a couple hundred. STELLAR service, beautiful people, and I intend to go there for ALL of my jewelry needs because of those two. (Not just to purchase, but also maintenance and miscellaneous work)”

“I went into the store to ask about a silver skull ring I noticed in one of the front display windows. Actually I had passed by that window many times on my early morning walk to work, and been fascinated by the ring,,but never got to go in due to time constraints. The ring literally called out to me. Those who know the feeling will know what I mean.Today, Saturday, October 28th, 2023, I finally got the chance to ask about the ring. Peter, its creator, explained to me how it was cast, and gave me details of other pieces he has worked on. He is a true artist and craftsman, and his passion for his work is obvious. He also showed me another skull ring he had made, an intricate lacework of silver that was painstakingly handcut. Just awesome stuff.Needless to say, all this made me love the ring I came in for even more. A one of a kind piece made by a master craftsperson. It was a perfect fit for my ring finger.
