“I had a wonderful experience at Dworkin & Daughter this morning! The owner was nothing but polite and friendly! She and I had a wonderful conversation about her shop, her items, and the sentimental value she has for them. She told me about her travels and past as well. She sold me one of her very loved pieces from her own collection so I can gift it to my mother. She was so lovely and so excited it was going to a home where it would be appreciated. This is easily the best antique shop I have had the pleasure to visit so far. I have the outmost respect for the owner and her business and anyone is lucky to get to know her!”

“I stopped into Ray New York on a whim this past Saturday, to peek at the displayed pottery. As I turned to leave, the owner, Michael, called out to me. We chatted for a little while about the painting in progress in the gallery--he does his work right there--and he sent me home with a print! I'm no artist, but I like what I see. Michael's nautical themes and gradations of blue put my mind at ease. I hope you'll get a chance to stop in to Ray--I think you will find something that strikes your fancy!!”

“I found Lydia's Antiques & Stained Glass to be an excellent antique shop but most importantly to be fairly priced. I bought two smaller pieces for about what I was expecting. While browsing and looking at many other pieces the fairness in what was being asked for the pieces was very nice to see. I've seen many, many other places (both real time shops and online) asking for much higher prices on many similar items spotted in this gem of a shop. Will absolutely return on my next visit.”

“I have bought many beautiful pieces from Fishers and had them delivered without incident. As for their staff, today I brought my dog in the store and, though he is house trained, he marked the rug. I told the staff; they were incredibly nice about it and we cleaned it up. Beautiful original items of all kinds of your house.”

“This place really deserves its reputation as one of the best antique stores on Long Island. Huge variety of antique furniture, collectibles, books and all kinds of interesting things. There are so many unique items to look at, yet it's somehow well organized into different sections. Really a beautiful shop and very reasonably priced. The people who run it are friendly and knowledgable. Be prepared to spend some time there because it's huge and packed with interesting things. If you are going to be on the North Fork, this is a must-visit.”

“As a homeowner, I'm pleased to recommend the Irony. Within the last year, they saved me twice with small projects. The most recent one recreated a factory, speciality antique bronze finish on bathroom plumbing fixtures that was inadvertently damaged. I thought it was too far gone, but the Irony thought-through the needed process that saved me the heartache of having to replace them. It's true skilled artistic work that's hard to find, but easily accessible in the Hamptons.”

“Mona, the owner, has incredible style. There is not a lot of product but everything that's there is impeccable and insanely chic. And Mona's partner is a landscape designer who has done a beautiful job on the garden. I very inspirational store and a must visit destination for interior designers and design lovers.”
