“I bought my 1970 Oldsmobile 98 to Auto Restoration of Long Island. Chuck and his son did some work on my car. He did an excellent job replacing the intake manifold gasket, He also replaced the rear brakes shoes. They replaced the muffler. The muffler pipes had a few leaks, which was a very minor issue. Tate rebuild my carburetor,but it wouldn't idle correctly at all. Chuck and his son Tate ordered me another carburetor from Jats Carburetor Co. Chuck and his son gave me the new carburetor from jats . The new carburetor they gave me had a few issues that not Chuck fault. My friend was able to make repairs to the new carburetor. Now the engine runs and idle very smoothly .? Even though Chuck charged me a huge deposit up front. He also doesn't have a great amount of patience. But I give him some credit because he will stand by his work. Tate, on the other hand ✋️ have a lot of patience and is very professional and pleasant.”
“Wow I really don't know how to say that Bret was beyond caring, helpful and compassionate. My car was in an accident and was towed to Southahore Auto Works. The next morning i went to see the car and to baseline what to do next. I was in foreign territory until Bret helped explain the process of what the next step was to be. I was able to have a better understanding of things when I was talking to the insurance company. Although it was intimidating it was helpful and reassuring that Bret proved to be knowledgeable and was spot on. When it was time to remove my property Bret passed no judgement on my hot mess condition. I did have some follow-up questions afterwards and he did not mind my calls. I can say through out this time I had witnessed how busy their business was and how his customers were all reporting what he has done for them and how satisfied they were with their work When I finalize my new cars paperwork he is already the business where it will be inspected and cared for for a very long time. Dont second guess this business. You will be greatful you found a good crew and as his customers reported an extremely knowledgeable mechanic.”

“Since I started working in Shirley, I have been coming to AE auto service for more than three years. My first flat tire happened at 6 p.m. in the evening. Despite the fact that it was late, the guy did not turn me away. The mechanic fixed the leak immediately after checking it. The second time was when I needed a NYS inspection, which took less than 25 minutes. The third time I rebalance my tires was when I felt slight vibrations. Rather than making me wait, they took care of my car right away.I am so glad that I discovered this shop in Shirley, NY because they offer great customer service and care.
