“I know the struggle is real when it comes to choosing what to buy as a Christmas gift for our family. So the week before, hubs and I scoured this tiny- but mighty shop at the corner of Tannery Brook Rd & Tinker St. in Woodstock. The size of this shop makes it cute. The location is cute. Hell, the products are cute. These ladies have a selection of minimalist-meets-unusual lifestyle and home items ranging from candles, door stoppers, jewelry, blankets, throws, outdoor mats and so much more done tastefully. This was almost a one-stop-shop place for us as we crossed some people off our Christmas list. Between the sofa pillow I got for my Mom, (2) small ceramic candle holders, a fuzzy scarf and tapered candles- things were looking good. Since my daughter's sorority's mascot is an Elephant, I also purchased her an Elephant wooden door stopper I couldn't pass up. List or not, I'd come back any other time to pick up something for myself.”

“A hidden gem!! Kim at Melange is amazing. Her store is adorable with one of a kind items. My husband & I had such a great time shopping there. She has everything from unique & adorable household items to beautiful hand carved wood pieces, lovely ornaments & so much more. The moment you step into her store it's like being wrapped in a hug you never want to leave. We purchased a few gifts which she wrapped beautifully as well as some items for ourselves. Thank you Kim! “I came across this incredible store during a visit to Woodstock this past summer 2025 and completely fell in love with it. Everything they sell is of impeccable quality and absolutely charming.
The people who own and/or run it are incredible. I’ve never wanted to linger in a store as much as I do here and I went back twice during my visit.
I ended up getting (among many other things) some hippie drippy candles, and a candle holder for them with a little loop on it. My nightly routine now consists of lighting one of these candles next to my bed and not only enjoying the candlelight but also the souvenirs and marvelous energy from the store itself.
UPDATE: it’s been months since my visit to Candlestock and I have re-ordered my hippie drippy candles in bulk twice now. Both times the packages arrived very quickly and in perfect condition. I love the store and cannot wait to go back.”
