“This is a great place for a family stay. It is basically an upscale, medium-sized lodge in a rolling, rural area about 2 miles from Skaneateles Lake. It is brand new, so everything is pristine and has sort of a nature or forest theme.
Rooms are spacious and have comfortable beds. The filtered water taps with three different types of water are a welcome presence in the hallways. Rooms have espresso makers.
There are multiple pools and hot tubs, bocce courts, putting greens, and pickleball courts. There is a library with books and games. There are bikes to borrow. We did all of these things.
We had breakfast al fresco at the restaurant overlooking the pool and back property. It was a farm-to-table style in which they grow some of their own produce. It was wonderful.
I would stay here again, the only drawbacks being the price and not being ON the lake (the photo of Allyn Lodge, the associated event space across the road, shows a small lake that is not Skaneateles).”
“Actually a very nice place, some stairs to conquer but our room, The French something (top floor) was a very nice room with a king bed. Good price, great location, easy parking. I will come back but I hope they get the WiFi fixed as it was essentially not working g for our 2 days. I ended up hotspotting off my phone. They are aware they have a problem.”
“Was wonderful..Loved the little cation, room was fantastic as it overlooked the lake. Ate at their sister hotel, The Sherwood Inn. Location was perfect as well as food and service.”
“We were in town for just one night to attend a concert at Beak and Skiff Orchard. The rooms were clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable with nice linens. The room we had with one king bed was spacious. There was a little porch on the back and the room was nicely decorated. Would definitely recommend.”

“Lovely place to stay. I highly recommend renting one of the group floor cottages. Lovey walk out patio and a great view of the gardens. The staff is outstanding. The spa is one of the best that we have ever been to.”
