I met a lady at a dog park and she recommended K&A. Brought my two cavachons Luke and Leia. They were pretty matted and left smelling and looking phenomenal. I didn’t want the eye lashes and ear hair cut. They actually listened. I wanted the length still long which is difficult with matted hair. The length was left long but no matts. It was magical. My husband who is very picky and cynical was thrilled. He mentioned to me that he was so happy we finally found The Perfect groomer. And he’s beyond picky.
I was also texted during the grooming giving me updates. A previous groomer was mad at Leia for being so verbal. Andrea the groomer at K&A thought Leia was wonderful and scrumptious. She and her husband were so positive and compassionate. In my quest to find a perfect groomer I was always dissatisfied and disappointed. Until K&A. The dogs look so good. I really cannot gush enough. It’s a very emotional thing to bring your dogs to the groomer. But after meeting Andrea and her husband I felt so comfortable and secure. Lovely warm people.
I cannot recommend K&A enough. It is a wonderful spa. Highly highly recommended!!!!!

My baby girl has cushings and they always take excellent care of her and listen to what I need. I also have a baby bulldog who now goes to them as well. I love bringing them here.

371 Middle Country Road, SmithtownI'm a veteran who graduated from the vet dog program. The ENTIRE staff is amazing. I feel like the dog they trained and gave me is the best of the best. They paid for me to fly from CO, placed me in a great facility to live, trained me to be a handler, and fed me for two full weeks. I didn't pay a dime. This place has changed my life and I would do this 100x again if asked. There are some rules here. This is a dry campus. Any vet should have zero issues with this place after all of the institution and structure they've already been through. One more thing I really appreciated about this place is all of the community and connections I made. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, all of you.

JBBQ Hot Pot & BBQ
41 NY-111, SmithtownExcellent! Everything was delicious. Of course they get you with the combo of bbq+shabu per table if folks want one or the other, but it’s worth it. I was in my glory eating crab legs in hot pot while my boyfriend was bbq-ing his heart out eating short rib. Marinades great, everything fresh.
Sauces, appetizers, and service via Diana was excellent and quick, she was always on it. She didn’t rush us and let us enjoy our night and sing/ open bday gifts (mind you it was a weeknight). Great variety of ice cream and sides too.
Make sure when you go you don’t forget to get up and grab sauces in the other room besides the ones they give you.
Atmosphere and indoor decor is thrilling too. Cool wood and lamps.
Only workflow I would improve to both reduce confusion and food waste is have the buffet of meats/shabu shabu foods lined up for folks to pick up and bring back to table, it was a bit overwhelming to receive it all at once - but service made up for it for sure.

79 NY-111, SmithtownI got a rice bowl with shrimp/ smoothie/ chips and queso. Honestly, it was fantastic. A more personalized place, and you enjoy way more flavors. Is it a little more expensive than larger food chains in this space, but totally worth it. The workers were really nice, service was quick, and I left full.
Ingredients tasted fresh, and the mango sauce was pretty cool to see. My family enjoyed it as well - great for kids and all ages. I will be back!
