Had an appointment for my passport. Got there at 9am for 9:15. One person ahead of me and one in the office with the guy. An hour later, I had to reschedule. What a huge inconvenience this is. The worker may be here all day but that doesn’t mean we should be. 2 more families came in after me. Good luck to “scheduling an appointment here”

I had a delivery/tracking issue. USPS employee Ms. B. Kelly of this post office was quite helpful, empathetic, and went above and beyond to assist me.

I can't say enough about Susana at this location who went way above and beyond helping me with a critical situation. An error was made in addressing a package when someone moved and some very important documents were lost. Susana took control of the situation in an expedient, patient, caring and professional manner. It was amazing that in a facility which handles so much mail every day she was able to locate the package and promptly get it to its correct destination. Susana was humble and acted as if she did it every day and just shrugged it off. Meanwhile, on the other end of the phone all I could think of was Superwoman. I hope that this is put in her employee file and at her next review is remembered. I also hope she is considered at the next review for employee of the month. She certainly has my vote. Thank you again Susana. You will always be the Superwoman of Smithtown to me.

I sent my package to the Usps office The last place it was at is Smithtown New York. How could you guys lose my package The destination I need to go to was 30 miles away from you. The person never received it. You couldn't update the tracking. Post Office wants to charge more but yet you guys can't take care of your customers.

I have been a customer of a postal box for approx. 3 1/2 years. My very small box cost me $61.00 per 6 months. Then about a year ago the rate jumped to $81.00. Now~~ I'm about to pay my 6 month fee, and much to my dismay,and MO notification the Fee for 6 months has JUMPED TO $101.00 For this small box in the wall !! WHY AND HOW HAS THIS RATE INCREASED SO HIGH, AND INCREASED AGAIN IN A YEAR?? If you haven't noticed I am extremely upset as I'm on a fixed income as a senior, I can not afford another increase! What can Smithtown, N.Y Post Office do to roll back this fee, or offer a discount for Seniors, Disabled who is trying to survive on a fixed income on Long Island, NY? As with all this price GOUGING (inflation) going through the roof and deciding how to make a decision between food or medication, or taking 1/2 ; why must the Post Office jump on the Band wagon ,and once again increase their rates?? Hasn't the P.O. gotten enough bail outs? "The agency ended March with $25.8 billion in the Postal Service Fund, up from $16 billion the previous month. A year ago, USPS had just $9 billion in the account, leading to dire warnings that it would run out of cash in six months and a request for $75 billion in relief from Congress.Apr 7, 2021. USPS Has nearly exhausted the 10 BILLION that Congress awarded". "Feb.9, 2022 U.S. House approves $50 billion relief bill for Postal Service" And in addition. my post office box rates INCREASED AGAIN?!! What's WRONG with this picture? From, A VERY UPSET CITIZEN & POSTAL BOX CUSTOMER!!

I Went to the Smith Post Office today which is in my neighborhood that I just moved to 6 months ago. The employee Shaqcod( (not sure how it's spelled) helped me with Expedited passport process. He was knowledgeable, pleasant, very helpful and overall made my experience with the Post Office a great one!! Great Employee!! I'm grateful for people like him!!

I have experience an inconsistent issue with delivery and pick of the mail. When try to call the post office, no one answers and customer service does not provide you the option to speak with a representative. Instead of having a 2 hours window for mail delivery and pick-up, there is a 5 hours window which is insane. As a medical company is important that mail get pick up on a daily basis and not be delay because of the inconsistent time. Mail person doesn't have a proper set schedule, he/she comes whenever. This situation is getting out of control and need to speak with management to find a better solution.

Mailed 2 priority packages to Colorado on Dec 16th . ( both mailed at the same time ) One package arrived after 14 days obviously missing Christmas ( tracking status had large gaps ) . Who knows where the other package is I can’t even track it because it doesn’t say where it is except it will be arriving late . We are talking $80 + in postage for services not provided !!! They should have never accepted packages if they weren’t able to provide the service. Today is Jan 11th still no updates !!!( the last update was Dec 28th & didn’t indicate where package was at that time , 26 days and counting so far !!! )
