CVS Somers Pharamcy is a terrible run business. Worst pharmacy in the area.

My husband and I have our non-mail order Rx sent here and have not had an issue with medications being filled. When one medication was out of stock they called and suggested a different way for the doc to write the dosing so it could be filled (two 5mg tabs instead of one 10mg). It worked and meant we got our meds the same day. I would love to give 5-stars, but the line to collect a Rx is seventh-ring-of-hell experience. I am on immune suppressants, and even though I mask in line, I am constantly surrounded by sick people coughing and hacking, waiting for their Rx. Not blaming the sick people, this is where sick people need to go! My issue is with the chronic understaffing. They will have one person on register at peak hours. The line can be 15-20 people long. I shouldn't have to risk getting sick, waiting in line for 30 minutes for my medication. I've tried going early morning, midday, just before closing, weekdays and weekends, and the line is always terrible.

Went here in November to get my scheduled Shingris shot. I had a cold and administrator said I should reschedule. I rescheduled for today but got an email this morning saying I was cancelled. It turns out they have me documented as getting the first shingles shot during my November visit that was cancelled. I DID NOT GET THE SHOT THAT DAY. Nobody was helpful to me. They said I had to call my insurance and figure it out. IT WAS THEIR MISTAKE BUT NOW IT IS MY PROBLEM TO SOLVE. Awful. They did bill my insurance AND GOT PAID for an shot that never happened. I have been on the phone for over 3 hours today trying to rectify THEIR created problem. So, apparently I now work for CVS as I have to check myself out every time I buy something. Awful place to do business. Under staffed and under qualified..

This isn't against staff but management, completely understaffed. My son even applied for a job in June and no one called him back after asking for an interview. I called and got the run around. Hire help people

Honestly, it was my shopping experience with the floor associates, Ross. He was so wonderful. This man was professional, patient, and extremely pleasant. He was so attentive and answered all my questions concerning my Care Pass points and general knowledge of the store which better assisted with my shopping experience, we need more people like Ross!

CVS stores are absolutely the worse including the pharmacies... No inventory, understaffed, nasty angry employees, check out machines that don’t work, dirty with empty shelves.. Just use your local family owned pharmacy… CVS is a division of a huge conglomerate.. not interested in maintaining a connection to their customers…. They could care less.

I switched to Acme pharmacy, I recomend you do the same.CVS is the most expensive in the area by far and won't take good RX even though they are supposed to, different excuse every time. And even if you fix what they claimed to have been the proboem, they'll make up a new one. Even if you check over the phone before coming in, magically when you get there, there is an issue and they won't take it and try to tell you it's not that much different, like don't speak on behalf of my money??? I'm out of college and need to save every cent I have cus I'm living paycheck to paycheck??? Sorry I'm not cool with CVS taking more money than they should?

This used to be an excellent drug store. Unfortunately, it is now a mess, with astonishing lacks in the most ordinary products. From time to time, there has been no Kleenex, no cotton, no cough drops, almost no cards, or wrapping paper, just to name a few products. Instead, in the back of the place, there is now a very large, empty place with chairs..no one is there. The front entry is a mess, unkept and dirty-looking, doors broken from time to time. This is all in addition to many lacks. I was in Greenwich, CT today and found everything I needed with real humans to check me out, not the awful machines that break down constantly, not long lines: just a clean, efficient, stocked, fully operational store! This Somers place has a pharmacy that is totally unhelpful in giving information about the Covid boosters and acts angry when asked questions. After hearing a half hour ago that the Moderna Booster shot had just been granted FDA approval, I called CVS, and as is par for them, they hadn't heard that. Really? Big news and they missed it! A shame: this is a once nice, efficient, well stocked place that is now failing. Several friends are now going to other pharmacies for medicines. What has happened to this once nice place is a mystery.

I went to the CVS in Somers, NY yesterday on my way home from the hospital. My prescriptions were filled between 2PM and 2:15PM and when i went there at 6:30 PM Alyssa at the counter said meds were not ready because she was too lazy to get up and check The rack of medicines. Guess what when i started screaming at her, she finally got up to check and they were there. Another lady in the pharmacy who i think was in charge had a nasty attitude protecting the young idiot. They all started laughing at me and found this whole episode amusing. Richard the manager, when i complained to him, he said the store did me a favor by filling my prescriptions. Their policy seems to be that CVS is "right" and the customer is "wrong". The CVS pharmacy in Somers NY to learn better customer service skills. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PHARMACY

Service is consistently good and friendly. Passport photos and flu shots are available. Can get crowded at times but there's a good amount of parking.

The best CVS that has ever existed. Because it was built on an ancient Indian Burial Ground, this CVS is technically in two seperate dimensions (the demons tend to leave alone customers and focus mainly on staff). They didn't have my exact brand of deodorant, but that was OK since I really only buy it so that people think I wear deodorant.
