“Well maintained waterfront area that is supported by the New Suffolk Waterfront Fund. The sign on site also talks about this area as being the first submarine base. There is parking right at the entrance, picnic tables, and a beach area where you can launch water vessels. There is also a small marina and a nearby restaurant. On a beautiful day, you can see a fair ways onto the sound. Well worth a visit if you want a quiet spot for lunch or rest while on the North Fork.”
“Clean, organized, well run 2nd hand shop. Helpful and cheerful staff. We’ve occasionally found furniture, high quality used clothing, and knick knacks for the house.”
“My two kids attended Summer Camp at the Farm this year and they absolutely LOVED IT! There was something, fun, new and exciting everyday, including an oyster farmer, veggie taste testing, collecting chicken eggs and so much more. They were just BUZZING with excitement the entire long ride home. This was an experience I'm certain they'll remember forever! It's a small group of kids, which is very hard to come by on busy, over crowded Long Island and the counselors are absolutely phenomenal! My son can be emotional and highly sensitive and the one day he was having a hard time They called me to let me know and give me the chance to try and calm him down. I would send my kiddos here any time, you won't regret it if you do! Can't wait until they can go back!”
