I went to look at a 2015 ram pickup, at first glance it looked in really good condition but after looking in the rear wheel wells I could see where someone did a very quick rust repair job,(I work at a body shop) the rust didn't concern me a whole lot, it's a used new york truck, I was expecting some, also the manifolds were ticking a little bit, also not a huge concern it just needed new bolts but when I said something to them they tried to deny both, the rust repair was very recent and she tried to act like they knew nothing about it, as for the ticking she said they fix everything that needs fixed before they sell a vehicle, go figure I could easily hear it, a dishonest dealer I will not be going back

I bought a Mini Cooper from Northwest and got a great deal on a low mileage car. I had a great experience before and after the sale. The staff was great.

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE CON ARTISTS. I purchased a 2011 Subaru here which they claimed was in tip top condition. They made it look superficially nice, and delayed the pick-up claiming they were "making sure everything was good to go in the shop." That was reassuring, but a few weeks in and the "Christmas tree effect" lit up my dash. Took it to the repair shop and it needed a full spark plug replacement and tune-up. That sucks, but at least it's good to go now, right? WRONG! The car power started intermittently flickering while driving... turns out it needed a new battery because it still had the ORIGINAL 2011 battery in it?! No wonder it was so sluggish... Battery replaced... now we're about 3 months into this train wreck and boom - front left knuckle cracks while I'm turning, causing my car to start scraping on the ground on the highway! I have it towed, they fix that, and inform me that the stabilizers all need to be fully replaced as well as the brakes. I went into severe debt not being able to afford these repairs out of pocket, and wasn't even able to fix everything before I ended up not being able pass inspect a year in, and ended up losing the vehicle because I couldn't pay for it. These disgusting SCAMMERS who run these dealerships don't care about how horribly they screw your life into the ground. Do yourself a favor and buy new, or get a lease-to-own. I hope these people go out of business... they ruined my life.

Absolutely fantastic experience with this dealership. I have been burned by places like this before so I was a little apprehensive at first. Everyone there is pleasant and seemed generally happy to help you. Most importantly they are honest and upfront. We picked out a vehicle that worked for us at a great price. Instead of letting us just drive off like some places would they kept to vehicle for a few days to make sure everything was working correctly. There was a minor issue when we brought it home, they took it in no questions asked and fixed it within a day. They assured me if anything else happens just bring it in and they will take care of it. I hope not to need another car for quite some time. But when I do I know where I'll be going.

This was quite the experience. I don’t tend to review places often but this one was wild. We went to see 3 different Toyota Tundras they had, ‘07 & (2) ‘10. First truck they didn’t have the right size battery in it apparently (so couldn’t start or drive it) was super rusted underneath anyways. Pass. Looked at the 2nd one, really rusty underneath, muffler was rusted lots of dents and scratches. Pass. Looked at the 3rd one, wasn’t too rusty underneath, looked fairly solid, not many dents or scratches, so we test drove it…. Lol…. Turn it on & immediately the check engine light came on. It’s 90° this day, so I go to turn the AC on, it’s blowing hot air.. cool lol. Started shifting weird as we were driving, so we pulled over to look at it again. The leaf springs were cracked and being held up with small clamps, and upon closer inspection - the muffler was being held up with wire ?♀️ this place can’t be serious! Mind you, all three trucks were priced between $14,995 & $18,995 ? We felt like we were waiting for Ashton Kutcher to jump out (punk’d) absolutely insane. We’ve never experienced anything like this. Save your time, do not even bother with this place.

I never leave reviews but I will for this place… I purchased a used Jeep Wrangler from this place almost 1 year ago. With the purchase of this vehicle came a 30 day warranty. Under this warranty it was brought to the attention of Frank that 2 of the lock cylinders were seized and he offered to have both replaced. Because I live a 2 hour drive from the shop he offered to ship me the cylinders so that I could put them in myself. After calling the shop hundreds of times and leaving hundreds of messages they refused to answer or call back. After finally getting ahold of them 10 months later I spoke with one of the employees who said he would send me my cylinders but that they only have 1. I told him I’ll take the 1 at this point and after hanging up the phone frank then called me back and attempted to bribe me to take down my bad review I had left a week prior or I would not receive my lock cylinder. After I said that I would not take my review down he claimed “he’s not playing games” and I have videos of both phone call conversations. Not to mention the car has had numerous issues and has costed over 3k in repairs already. They like to leave responses to bad reviews denying accusations but this place has very poor customer service and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone

Excellent, no-pressure service from Paul. We had difficulty timing the purchase with our house sale, and they were very considerate, holding the vehicle for a while with just a down payment In a hot market. Vehicle was clean and just as promised at delivery. A1 dealer, and hope to use them again in future.

I'd like to share my personal experience here. I recently purchased a used pickup truck from Northwest Auto Mall. I was pleasantly surprised how easy and smooth Paul made the buying process. They don't use high pressure sales tactics and push crazy scam tactics that most car dealers use. Paul answered all my questions showed me the carfax report and explained all the available options. I am 100% satisfied and highly recommend giving them the opportunity to earn your business. I will definitely buy from them again in the future.

Paul did a great job facilitating our purchase. Although I am not a big fan of New York law, Paul made sure everything was set when we arrived.

July 2018 purchased a vehicle. Within a month, check engine light pops on, oil pressure sensor started going on. Took it in for service, was told everything was good. This continued to happen about every other month, but never went back because obviously they didn’t do the job properly (or do the job at all and just reset the check engine light) the first time and I had no confidence that it’d actually be addressed and corrected like it should’ve been before I even signed the contract to buy.Jump forward to this week, $7200 in repairs for an estimate after putting in about $3000 myself last year, and I’m back to finding a new car. The $7200 estimate I received is roughly $200 more than what I paid for the vehicle. Made it about half way through the loan before the car gave up on me. I feel like I was sold damaged goods under the guise that everything was just fine with my car. If ANYONE is looking to purchase a car, keep heading down Ridge Road and go to another dealership. I learned from my mistake, but I’m hoping that another buyer doesn’t make the same mistake I did. Between down payment, car payments, and maintenance, I’ve probably put in close to $9000 in the last two and a half years into a dud of a vehicle. Would’ve been better just setting that money on fire instead of dealing with this. Finally decided that enough is enough and that it’s time to cut bait with this car.

Husband and I bought a truck for $17000. Nothing but problems. From wrong size battery to missing brake parts, and now huge issues axle bearings, fuel rails, and more. We are well over $1000 into repairs, and now taking it to a real dealership to have fixed once and for all...probably several more thousand to go...we will be putting a sign on the back saying "we bought this ? at northwest auto", give us a beep if you saw this review. All we can do now is try to help others to not make the same mistake we did.

I went here yesterday based on a referral from a family member. The guy that I spoke to was the least bit interested in my existence there once I gave him a brief rundown of my situation. He told me I wouldn't get anywhere without a co-signer or a high interest rate, which I told him i was aware of my situation and that was something id just have to do so that was fine. Guy wasn't interested in working with me, despite my openness and just kept saying " yeah youre in a tough spot" like thanks bud. Anyways, had a appointment at Upstate Auto Credit later that day, super helpful, friendly and welcoming knowing it would also be tough but still willingly tried with some optimism. They got me a car with no co-signer, way less interest then what Northwest told me i was gonna get with out even trying, and way nicer/newer car then any 11k,+100k miles northwest have on the lot. definitely recommend Upstate, this place is a dud.
