99¢ City is a store for everyday essentials at affordable prices. The branding is misleading, as not everything is 99 cents and prices can be a bit high compared to other dollar stores. However, it has a reasonable selection of everything from snacks and hardware to bathroom essentials and makeup. The staff are very helpful. It is a place to find specific items, like unique wrapping paper, and many essentials are cheaper than at Walmart. It is an ok store for essentials, but not everything is dirt cheap.
