“Love this place ! Been coming to Closeout Bats for years. They care about the customer not the dollar. Went late afternoon on a Friday & Garrett went above and beyond to fix my daughter's mitt to make sure she had it for Mondays tryouts. Even though he was extremely busy. Also they explained to my daughter there was nothing wrong with her bat & didn't need to spend the extra money on a new one. We did decided to buy it anyway so she has a backup bat. “I was recommended by a friend, so I bought my very first gun at Davis, Ruger Mini 14. Price was very fair, on par with the cheapest you could find on the internet. I told them straight out it was my first gun. Tiffany (the owner) and her employees were EXTREMELY helpful and understanding. Made me feel right at home, like my best friend was helping me. Pointed me in the exact direction I wanted to go. I had originally went in for for a shotgun, but so glad, after our conversations, that I went for a semi auto. As a NYC resident, it’s the closest you can get to an AR. I wouldn’t had been able to participate in matches at my range on Staten Island with just a shotgun, which is what you need to become a member with a key. Matches are only with rifles or pistols. If for some reason anyone, like the commenters before, had an issue at the store or with a purchase, it’s because of the myriad of laws they have to deal with. TRUST ME, this a a damn great firearm and sports dealer. They have EVERYTHING. I was like a kid in a candy store there.”
