“Great store for numerous items, but you have to watch prices as they are higher than other stores on certain items! Overall clean store and is almost always well stocked on almost everything! Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the store is always clean too!”
“Even with the 25 cent price increase I still find stuff cheaper here than anywhere else. Great place to find odds and ends at the best price around. As long as you don’t abuse your stuff you should be happy with a lot of what this place has to offer. Small waste baskets ($6 or higher elsewhere), name brand tooth paste, cooking utensils, tissues, and more. It takes some time to find the gems but when you do you can just stock up once or twice a month or if you do catch the sales (yes they have sales with the same items but at higher counts) you can find even more value which I’ve just found out recently actually. Take the flyers seriously and pay attention to unit price. Place is always clean and staff is friendly and on several occasions I’ve been offered help finding things without having to ask.”
“Great place for furniture and the gentleman that works in that department is an excellent person to help. He goes that extra mile to help. Very knowledgeable and helpful and truthful about all aspects of that department. . Good deals right now so I got me a nice big cozy recliner.”

“The staff here are excellent. They work hard and have great customer service. DG Corporate should know they have a great crew in the Vernon store! I’m in at least once a week for the past 5+ years and have ZERO complaints. Store is never messy, everything is well stocked and organized. You’re doing great work!They’ve also added more refrigeration so they have a wide selection of frozen foods and also sell milk, eggs, cheese, some meats like bacon and deli meats. This was a huge upgrade for the area.”

“This is one of newer Dollar General stores, its well lit clean, shelves are well stocked and I can usually find what I want or need. You still need to be aware of pricing as some items can be purchased at a lower price in other stores.”
