I was in Dick’s store in Destiny in Syracuse, NY on Monday, 3/3/25 around 10:30 AM to make a return. I want you to know that the woman (I don’t know her name) on register was very professional and very kind to me. I just wanted to give her a shout out. Thank you!!

Worst shopping experience ever. They say they have stuff in stock, that is false. The only help they provide is having people follow you around? Never once in any of the departments was I asked for help. They did follow me from each department. They being the “undercovers” you know the ones that are by themselves not shopping but starring at their phones. I was so disgusted I felt like returning everything I purchased right at the register. I will never return to Dicks or Destiny for anything. This is why Bezos stock is rising and you’re going out of business soon. He knows what customers want and how to treat them and you my friends DO NOT.

Went in looking for a running belt to carry my phone. The web site said they have several of n stock. No one in the place has any clue where they would be located. Spent the better part of half an hour looking through the store and being told to go ask someone else every time I asked an employee.

Clean, well lit. No one greeted me. Prices are super high. The funniest part is when they’re showing hunting sports on their TVs…with absolutely not hunting/archery section. Might want to make up your mind.

The Destiny USA location had great service in the shoe department. The shoe lead Jack was knowledgeable and really tried to make sure I got what I needed and wanted.

We bought an in-ground basketball hoop from Dick’s over a month ago and requested installation. They took my info and said they would call me the next business day. They never did. When I called the store, they had no record of our request and told me I had to come back into the store to set it up. Six weeks later, and we still have no hoop set up in our driveway. Very disappointing.
