Sometimes I bring my pillow and blanket for when I have to stand in line to make a simple deposit because usually there’s 1 person at the counter that moves as if there isn’t 200 people in line.

Went to this branch to take out a substantial sum of money from my long established (probably 10 years I’ve had this account), I was made to wait for 30 minutes for no apparent reason. Before I got my money the manager asked me “What are you going to do with the money?” And claimed it’s company policy to ask that. Really? The staff here is also absolutely clueless.

Seriously the wait is always ridiculous- do these people know how to do their job? Wait time is always a minimum of 20 minutes and they don't have enough employees- WORST customer service EVER!

After being a long time and loyal client with M&T bank, I had to make the difficult decision of closing my accounts. I made this decision based on a experience I had with the Downtown Syracuse branch, where I originally set up my savings and checking account with a large deposit.
