“I have nothing really negative to say. The people working there were quick, accurate and very pleasant. More pleasant than most clerks around the holidays. That building is starting to really show its age, though. Overall, a decent visit!”
“5 Stars – Exceptional Service by Christy at Division Street Location
I had the pleasure of being helped by Christy at the Division Street Post Office in Syracuse, NY, and I can’t say enough about her exceptional customer service. From the moment I walked up to the counter, she was warm, professional, and incredibly helpful—even though it was the final half hour closing on a busy Saturday before Mother’s Day.
I had multiple items to mail—some personal, some for work—and wasn’t sure about the best packaging or labeling options. Christy patiently walked me through each step, offered solutions with zero judgment, and made sure everything was done properly. She even replaced a label I’d messed up and explained exactly where to place everything on a box I wasn’t familiar with.
What stood out most was how seamlessly she balanced USPS policy with genuine kindness. She didn’t rush me, made sure I received both an email and printed receipt as requested, and kept everything efficient. It was clear she takes pride in doing her job the right way, and it made a huge difference.
Christy is a true asset to the USPS—thoughtful, knowledgeable, and everything you’d hope for in a representative of public service. I hope she receives the recognition she deserves. Christy is the reason for my Five-Star.”
“I’ve had nothing but great experiences with this P.O. All the staff are patient, knowledgeable and professional. I can’t tell you how many times they’ve helped me, corrected mistakes I made, or just educated me on updates that I didn’t even know about. All with a smile and “have a nice day”. I think many complaints on here can be attributed to the general PO issues with how things are run. Staff here is the best!”

“Friendly and professional staff that has consistently been helpful. The only reason they get a 4 is because their location is difficult to get to due to traffic patterns.”

“I love my postal service. I don’t know his name or hers. I just know how grateful I am that they knock on my door to let me know my package is here. Great job.”
“The employees here are saints. Whenever I’ve gone to this location, there is at least one customer screaming about something they had absolutely no control over (as if stamp prices nationwide are set by the employees in Syracuse). Still, the workers here are professional and patient with them.”
“I do not understand all the negativity on this particular post office I live down the street I happen to go there several times a month been going there for years always professional and helpful it's not a pizza shop where they are going to chit chat with you it's a federal building.”
“I came to this facility for a passport renewal. I had the pleasure of Kiondra helping me. She was very happy and knowledgeable as she assisted me with this. It was a very nice experience.
This was on June 14th at around 1pm. I wish I got the other women's name that was there also. She was very friendly and helpful also.
I would like to say thank you for all the help and assistance with my passport. Great facility they deserve recognition for their hard work and friendliness.
Thank you
Rod”
“This is the closest Post Office to my workplace and I love the location. Robin and Deb are very friendly and accommodating. I've even seen them use a translator app to help customers who don't speak English figure out what they need. They give directions and are very knowledgeable on everything from how to get a passport to ordering mail products online for businesses. Hey process money orders quickly and seem to get to know customers which I love. The ladies are great and if you go early there is almost no wait. It gets busy around 11am.”
